My wife tried to take Mielikki as her goddess today but wasn't allowed. According to all the Wiki's she is a NG goddess, so is there a reason she wouldn't take a NG Ranger as a worshipper? It tells her OOC she doesn't have the correct alignment. According to the FR Wiki she takes LG, NG, CG, and N clerics. |

Yes, when we found the idol in the Grove it wouldn't let her take Mielikki as a goddess. Told her she didn't have the alignment for it and she's NG. |

This happens sometimes. Good to know it works after a while, but worst case scenario a DM can set your deity with leto. |

You can get a Failure even if you meet requirements If you pick the "about this deity" or some such option and THEN try to make it your patron deity without first closing the current dialogue and then opening a new dialogue with the idol. That might have been the issue. |

Yes, we're both in CST in the US. So we're not on till about 7-8pm our time and I figure there is about a 6-7hr time difference from us. So by the time we can play I'm pretty sure you're well asleep. Maybe we can catch you on a weekend sometime. |

Honestly, we're happy to meet any of the family! She's following Mielikki, but I'm following another member of the 'family'. We've stopped by the Grove a number of times now, but we just have bad timing on meeting any other folks, or they're off saving the forest/world/planes, having tea, making origami animals, etc. I've been figuring that many of the other druid/ranger types may be in the UK. |
