Could we possibly get a general timetable of when servers will be password protected so those not allowed in can plan their RP/gametime? |

It's done when it's done. I don't know when exactly. |

Well can those not invited please be sent a PM telling us which days we will be unable to access Amia? Narrowing down to a day must be possible; if this is done on a whim then with respect, what the hell? |

Only super large events like this one get the server password protected, and they are rare. It will be up later today. |

Post it under a heading like 'Server B locked for unspecified period' in Announcements and General Discussion. Posting in a topic most players have no IC reason to read is telling your friends not the community. |

Locking because it's done. I had exactly 52 people I needed to move from one server to another. Sorry for your loss. |

I just want to say.... I don't appreciate the PMS and MSNs I got blaming me for this and saying Amia is now only reserved for the "elite". I guess this was a kneejerk reaction but I don't appreicate being blamed for it, or nything like that. Thanks. I was gone this whole weekend so coming home to that was a rather unwelcome treat, and tells me more than a bit about how people think of me. I will also stand by Robert's judgement. The event's time was publically posted long in advance. This is also not the first time the server was passworded for an event. It was not an attempt to slim down the server for a "clique", it was an attempt to make sure fifty plus people could be around for the climax of a months long DM plot arc. I would sooner congratulate Robert for a plot well run enough to involve 50 plus individuals and players, than berate him for making sure those players could get to an event. A plot well run. |
