Not sure if this should go in requests or here ... but I'm going to give it a whirl and try here.
Now that the free rebuild rule has been switch to one-a-year, if you did a free rebuild -before- the rule changed, are you allowed one more as your 'one a year' or are [any] of the ones you did previously count?
For example, I rebuilt a character of mine back in ... January or February, I think. Would I be allowed another if I chose as my 'yearly'?

If you had one free the day the rule changed, you still have one.
If you didn't have one yet, you don't. You have to wait.

The Rules wrote: A player may have a total of one individual character rebuilt for free in a year. This also means there must always be a whole year between each rebuild. I think this probably answers your question?

Well, now you have two conflicting answers. So, the wise course is to probably ignore anything else that gets said by anyone who doesn't have a "(DM)" after their name.

I remember reading a thread about this that was clear as mud. From what I gather, I think the way it works, is that if you were due a quarterly rebuild before the rule change, you're still good. So, if your last one was more than 3 months before that change happened, youre good. After that, you've got to wait. When that rule changed...I dont remember.

If you didn't have one yet, you don't. You have to wait. I recieved a self-rebuild the other day because I was told it was the other way around. I had qualified for a freebie when the rule changed. Is it possible for a DM ingame to level me back up to max from where I'm at and use my freebie? I don't feel like grinding exp all that much to be honest

An easy way to remember this that you are egilibe for a rebuild every 365 days, if less than 365 days since your last rebuild then you cannot get a free rebuild.

Why was this changed btw?
To much work on the DM's behalf?

Because players treating their characters as a revolving door was utterly ridiculous and nigh every single request in the forum was a reuild request.

Urr... Makes sense.
And now you got more time to spend In-Game and Preform events and Happy-Fun-Hours, Right?

I wish the 'No Specific Incidents on Forums' should be removed. There's so many fun topics about Rule-Violations...

Can I ask why you emphasise a character can only be rebuilt once a year, and then emphasise that the player can only have one a year? If the latter is true, doesn't that make the restriction on the former redundant?
