For lo MoshingChris came down from the heavens, half cocked on schnapps and gave sight unto those who took Palemaster for the Crit Immunity, RDD for the strength bonus and 20cha score, and he spake with a terrible tongue.

I'm thinking of rebuilding Rei. She's an evil elf, and I was thinking of going 25 rogue / 5 ftr for a cornersneaker. I intend for her to use a crossbow, and really want epic dodge ... can anyone suggest a better class combo? Or stats that I really shouldn't be without (aside from the high dex)? Obviously I shall need Rapid Reload, though.

Sorry Yurrel, thanks Hendrack, I had somehow completley missed that sentence.
Level 7 fighter should get 2 attacks per round.

24Rogue/Ftr5/Ranger1. You take the Ranger in epic and bag Epic Weapon Focus for free to offset the loss of Ftr6's feat. You get +4 Hide/MS outdoors and free Dualwield for the times you have to ditch the crossbow.

I got a nice build. It's a pure wizard of any race, really. I call it the "Dim but Determined"
Of course, (s)he isn't dim by 'usual' standards, but would find it very difficult to get on well with others in academia.
Starting intelligence: 13.
Above "average" for most races. But you can already see the difficulty.
But, give it some credit.
By level 4 it will have 14 intelligence. At 8: 15 INT. 12: 16 INT. 16: 17 INT. 20: 18 INT. 24: 19 INT. 28: 20 INT.
Great Intelligence post Epic increase it too, so opening all the Epic Spells for our late developing Dim but Determined.
There is a small period of time in the development when the Dim but Determined doesn't gain the next spell level that'd be expected due to not having enough intelligence, but our determined dimwit catches up a few levels later slowly acquiring 8th, 9th and Epic spells.
With the right gear and the right feats, this numbnuts will have more spellslots than really needed for anything. (S)He can focus on schools like any other just as fine. and will only cast with a few DC less than optimized magi but with the bonus of having more ability points put into, say wisdom or dexterity and constitution.
Enjoy, if you think you could take it.

But if a demon disguised as something else had a discussion with the character and decided she would somehow be a good fit to further its lord's agenda on the Prime, she might not even need to agree to something. "Here, take this magic ring. It will give you all sorts of powers. Now go spread chaos!" Of course the powers are coming from the Abyss (or whatever CE deity) and not the ring. But your PC doesn't have to know that.

Obviously I shall need Rapid Reload, though. You might wanna reconsider, if you absolutely wanna go this route I have some advice for the proposed build as is below. I don't see this build actually killing anyone without traps and lots of preparation. Default and unlimited healing potions make your damage nearly moot, and the kind of preparation a ranged corner sneaker needs against a target nearly forces you into an assassin roleplay to do any type of careful target selection and bypass of the normal pvp rules to get into the fights you want to. That said. You need burst damage to reliably kill, so you need traps to get this, the crossbow won't do it alone. Your crossbow will however do enough damage to get people to see you as something that needs taking down, and that needs to be your mindset. Never damage someone to the point that it triggers their heal potion response, if you can at all help it, you need the traps to actually finish them off. To this end, you're going to need blind fight to make sure someone doesn't pop an inviz or visage and start essentially completely ignoring you. You may wanna splash monk or barbarian, whichever fits your alignment/roleplay better if at all, to get some minor base move speed advantage, it will help. If you have plenty of room in the feats you plan on taking, pick up called shot and keep both called shot leg and called shot arm in your hotbar. Called shot leg, is rarely if ever going to work with freedom, pop it off at the beginning of a combat and see, it's incredibly frustrating to be hit by when it actually does work. Called shot arm is going to help you achieve the 'annoying' factor for pulling someone to you and your traps if they are already fighting someone else, the reduced ab may mitigate some damage and maybe even some Truestrike KD if you get the chance to use it enough. Find -some way- to get silence potions, it frees up your gear and skill points to do other things. Find sources of cammo and mass cammo, they stack and have ridiculous durations, again, this frees up gear space. An elf with good spot isn't harmed very much by your corner sneaking if they can always see you. What is this build going to do when it gets sneaked back? I suggest maybe putting that gear space you are saving on hide and move and putting it into spot along with an ESF Again I'm going to reiterate that without tactics, this PvP build is going to flounder (at least I assume this is a PVP build, as default monster AI blatantly ignores cornersneaking 80% of the time.), so i'm not going to waste my energy actually posting a specific class/level layout, I just think this is a very bad route to go pvp. Why are you dead set on epic dodge anyway? It doesn't seem to mesh well with the cornersneak ideal of , ....cornersneaking, from range. Is that feat entirely for AA's? Sincere good luck with the build.

I've found the heavy Sneaker to be spectacularly lethal, but mine is admittedly a dualwielder, so he gets two more attacks per round.

I don't believe Rapid Shot can be used with Crossbows.
With the Feat Rapid Reload, they get their full attacks. Otherwise Crossbows are limited to a single attack per round.
Unless this was modded on this server.

Its not.
Crossbows probably the most terrible choice of ranged weapon for a sneaker regardless of "Classic" styles.
That said Rei has a heavy reliance on those around her so its not going to present such a major problem because this server sees more FvF then silly one on one pvp. Crossbow will work, just not aswell as a Short/Longbow AA instead of Fighter Cornersneaker.
If your not overly stuck on the idea of a x-bower i'd piss it off in favor of a 19 Rogue 2 Bard 9AA or 17 Rogue 2 Bard 11 AA.

I am considering making a sorcerer. I am unsure which method would be the best for this server.
30 Sorc or 29/1 w/e : lots of epic charisma feats for high spell saves
26 sorc / 2 monk / 2 bg : Auto still spell III + EMA, high ac, lower spell saves
Whatever the build is I can mold the RP around, just don't know the server well enough yet to know what would work best.

Asking for input on a Cleric/Paladin, probably human. Here's what I have so far: Quote: "Cleric Paladin" Race: Human Classes: Cleric 26 / Paladin 3 / Rogue 1 Attributes: STR 14 CON 10 DEX 8 INT 14 WIS 16 + 3 raises + Great WIS I = 20 CHA 14 + 4 raises = 18
Pre-Epic: Cleric 18 / Paladin 2 7 general feats + 1 human: extend spell, maximize spell, weapon focus, improved critical, blindfight, power attack, divine might, divine shield
Epic: Cleric 26 / Paladin 3 / Rogue 1 2 Cleric Bonus Feats: Armor Skin, Great WIS I 4 general feats: Epic Weapon Focus, Epic Spell: Mummy Dust (using the option to substitute a good-aligned outsider for it), Epic Spell: Greater Ruin, Epic Fortitude
Skills (171 points): Concentration 32, Discipline 33, Spellcraft 30, Tumble 30, Use Magic Device 20, 26 left over Synopsis: CHA-based cleric. The 3 paladin levels give extra turn attempts (to be able to keep divine might/shield running for a full rest) and extra saves (+3 from divine grace and +2 pre-epic fort). Standard discipline/tumble dumping. Here are my questions: 1. Does having both Cleric and Paladin 3 actually double your number of Turn Undead attempts per day? 2. Being able to summon a good-aligned outsider that doesn't suck is cool. The above build doesn't get the final Gate upgrade, so instead it grabs the good-aligned outsider version of Mummy Dust. How does the latter compare with the former? Will I miss having level-27 Gate? 3. Can you think of a more paladin-heavy variant that works well? 4. If doing an spot-heavy variant, which epic feat would you replace with Epic Spot, and how would you rearrange skillpoints to max that skill? EDIT: I've half-answered #4 for myself. If I drop Spellcraft to 28 and UMD to 15, the character will have enough skill points to maximize Spot. The +2 INT modifier raises Spellcraft to 30, and with a +10 fully-buffed CHA modifier I don't think UMD is going to be a problem.

Don't know about 1-3, but since your base Fort is going to be 22, I'd have been inclined to ditch Epic Fort anyway. That feat is only really good when you're under 20 because it's only five mythal craft slots to add +15 Fort, you wear a Fortification+4 cloak for +19 and the last point comes from +1Uni, but every point past that is a real pain because it has to come from buffing CON and that costs two slots per point.
It's never a bad thing to have +4 base Fort, but I would swap it for an Epic Skill if I was above the magic 20 mark. That's two mythal slots worth, whereas the Fort is only one and a third so it's just a matter of saving money'n'effort.
In the case of Spot it's even more important since against a well-made stealther there is a mahoosive difference between 96 and 106 Spot, which is what you'll get if my maths are correct.

Svirfneblin sneaker! Tried out a svirfie wizard but their basic spell-like abilities make me want to try a stealthy UD dweller backed up with innate illusion abilities like camo and displacement. I'd rather he was difficult to find and difficult to kill rather than have insane damage, which fits in better with his RP, but at the end of the day I'm terribad at building characters in NWN, so any suggestions will be welcomed with open arms.

Can anyone tell me why the shadows summoned by the shadow variants have such relatively high charisma? Is there some mechanical advantage I'm missing, or is it just lore-correct?

I wish somebody could just give me a big Cheat-Note. *Hint hint*

This doable? Feels ...so empty... to not have Silent Spells. OR this one, it has Silent spell. But am i sacrificing to much to get Silent?

Domains etc? I see Mulan as the Base Race so I assume this is for your Kelly?
Your going to badly miss the +4 DC to your earthquakes mind. Any spellcraft/evasion character will save against them.
Effectively making a Caster Cleric without 40 geared wisdom is iffy.
