Does the sidebar player count include DMs?

I see, currently, "Amia Island - 63/65 (2 DM)". Does that mean there are 63 players online and two DMs, or does it mean there are 65 players online, of which 2 are DMs?

it means two are DM side, if its 65/65 then two DMs go DM side it can go up. they count to the limit when players join but can bypass it when DM side.

it's additive, not inclusive. 63 (2 DM) = 63 Players, 2 DMs.
