Hello everyone.

I am new to this server, and pretty new to NWN online as well, though not the single player portion. I am an avid roleplayer, and have recently been looking for a fresh outlet for it. I read up on NWN persistent servers and stumbled upon Amia.

I am still trying to finish up a character that I would like to run here, and I had a quick question regarding one of the class changes. I will quote it below.

Quote:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Paladin
---------------------------------------------------------------------

On Amia, the feats Divine Shield, Divine Might have been capped and scaled to Cleric + Paladin Level. For Divine Shield and Divine Might, this applies only to the damage or AC effect, not Duration. For example, a level 8 cleric/2 Paladin with a +12 charisma modifier will get +10 to Damage, and +10 to AC, but for the full 12 round duration.

Divine Grace has been capped purely to Paladin level. In the above example, our level 8 cleric/2 Paladin would receive +2 to his saves from his +12 Charisma modifier, and as he takes levels in Paladin, the bonus alloted to his Divine Grace will increase, up to his full Charisma bonus.

Summon Mount is disabled on Amia, as are all the Mounted feats.

When you say it is capped to Paladin level, does Champion of Torm count as a paladin level in regards to these spells on your server?

I only ask because "Torm is the patron of paladins and an unswerving enemy of corruption and evil.", as it reads in the description.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to roleplaying with you all.

Welcome, hope you have fun.

As far as CoT, they don't get turn undead so I do not think their level is counted in for this balance change. This is best asked in the 'Builds thread' though. Which is here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=42751

Thank you I will do that.

CoT doesn't count, unless I had a brain fart during writing tyhat and forgot. It wouldn't be the first time.

Cot does not stack with Paladin levels for Divine Might, Divine Shield, and Divine Grace. It does stack for determining level on Smite Evil and Lay on of Hands. The CoT class does not even have access to the Divine Might/Shield feat at level up. What this means is that you should try to have at least as many Paladin levels as you exect to have Charisma Bonus. (i.e. If your Charisma is to be 36, a +13 modifier, then you would need at least 13 levels of Paladin to recieve the most benefit.)
