I recently upgraded my PC, and finally managed to get it working properly yesterday.

While I am quite happy that NWN will run under Windows 7 without too much of a headache, I am not quite so happy to find that I can no longer log into Amia.

I'm afraid I'm not sure what's causing the issue. I log on to the server, see the character selection screen, proceed to loading the entry, but then get booted before I can even see it. One time I actually managed to catch a split-second glance of the inside of the entry when the server was full, probably due to lagg causing a slight delay. Obviously, the server is booting me on entry for some strange reason.

I experienced an issue with the Hak earlier, the .tlk file was missing, but I fixed that. I just get the "You have been booted." message now, which is not particularly informative. I'm not even sure if the problem is with Windows, or if it might be a combination of CD-keys that's causing the problems. (I have 2 full sets of the game + expansions, reinstalling to try out all possible combinations would be a last resort for obvious reasons.)

If anyone has any suggestions on things I might try, those would be very welcome.

You can change your CDkey in one of the .ini files in your NwN folder. No need to reinstall.

Sounds like you got the wrong set of keys installed, yeah. Just swap the keys as said above, in the nwncdkey.ini or something like that.

Two days of dicking around with compatibility settings, dicking around with my drivers and generally giving myself ulcers, all it took was changing a pathetic little .ini file...
