Thanks to my fellow DM Gers, also for helping with the war knights. I'm sad I missed it but it was in capable hands

Mathan Thasadur. ...This song is for you... [Click Ze link, and then read!] It's a little bit funny this feeling inside I'm not one of those who can easily hide I don't have much money but boy if I did I'd buy a big house where we both could live If I was a sculptor, but then again, no Or a man who makes potions in a travelling show I know it's not much but it's the best I can do My gift is my song and this one's for you And you can tell everybody this is your song It may be quite simple but now that it's done I hope you don't mind I hope you don't mind that I put down in words How wonderful life is while you're in the world I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss Well a few of the verses well they've got me quite cross But the sun's been quite kind while I wrote this song It's for people like you that keep it turned on So excuse me forgetting but these things I do You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue Anyway the thing is what I really mean Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen//I especially added the lights for you. Why? Because that Cute little pink dragon was ... //Edit; But i don't understand why i wasn't allowed to cast "Detect magic".

Quote: //Edit; But i don't understand why i wasn't allowed to cast "Detect magic". Because the DM said so, and they are the ultimate arbiters of what you can and cannot do in any individual event when it comes to PnP or anything. If a DM says that fire spells do cold damage and Lightning bolts turn into living stickmen, they do so.

thank you Tormak for what we've said. Thank you also Yossarin for showing that you don't favor by not giving me DCs (you know I burn them on random characters I don't play.) Thank you Nekhy/Disco and I hope you find the mothers who poisoned you. Thank you Hexx and Lale for surviving my most personal levels of depravity and remorse. Thanks Ron, I think we've been getting along well recently since we haven't been talking much (thanks for the ip update again btw) and thank you-

Tormak: For the random awesomeness of the underdark swiss family robinson. You're a gem of a DM. Thanks so much. DM 100: Awesomeness with the stolen ships.
You guys have made the last few nights just amazing. And have vastly improved my opinion of men in general. *points to her avatar*
Ok... I'm teasing. I think men are fabulous. Rumor has it, I keep one at my house for general income reasons and the occasional roll-in-the-hay. But that's just a rumor.
But really. Thanks!!!!!

TormakSaber: Recently, well, I've had some of the best communication with him as a DM. An improvement compared to some past disgressions. And I wanted to Thank-You for that Tormak. I've given you hell and abyss at times and even again lately.
I also want to thank him for his commitement. A thrice resceduled event and he was still there for the whole thing over two hours long. Part of this is the communication too, that you simply let me know that there is more work left for Weston to do than I would have realized.
Yossarin: You grabbed me in-game and made sure some RP got taken care of that really meant a lot. It really showed to me that you're paying more attention than I realized. So for that, Thank-You. With as many people you've had to manage in your plot, it's nice to be reminded I haven't been forgotten (because my mood was so low I was ready to believe that).
And you proved that wrong.
Gers: I would say you've been one of the most resourceful DM's I contact, I usually go to you first on odd questions when I spot you in-game. You also show a constant level of activity PC and DM side. I think you do some of the best work in keeping the DM presence on the server felt.
Thank-you for the hours of dedication you put in.
Crowsterf: It has been a very long time since I really got to chat with you. But I've never forgotten with my 1st PC that stuck around the nights you caught me by surprise. You've always been friendly and helpful, once more recetly in PM discussion about specific indicent rules on a more touchy subject.
I hope you remain such a smile-bringer. Thank-you.
Mahtan:
I may have listed you last, but, I have the biggest thank-you for you of them all.
Thank-You
Mahtan. For you single-handedly restored a great portion of my respect for the DM team when you held over 3 hours of OOC tells with me, despite my offers to let you focus elsewhere, about some of the things that have happened and explaining to my why the DM's did what they did. You said some things I really relate to as well.
Overall, I think that time you invested speaking with me has been the greatest lifting experience in Amia for a months. And it wasn't even In-Character.

Well, I just noticed this thread and I have some long overdue praise to hand out. So here it goes...
Leggomi- For your part in getting BLACK off the ground, can't remember all you did exactly, but it seems like you were around a lot back then.
Yoss- Holy crap that trial 8 months ago was awesome, and the escape more recently. Thank you for your ever increasingly complex Cordor plot line and including me in it.
Tormak- Thank you for your clearly over-inflated opinion of me, it's done wonders for my self esteem I assure you. More importantly I owe you for your part in getting Richard out of prison, and for helping Vrok along the way.
Keep up the good work, I look forward to the future.

DM Peeves (Poorvincinte) amd Tormy for punishing mine, Ghosties and Veritoss' OOC douchebaggery with a DM quest and for allowing us to escape the Lich somewhat unscathed.
Tormy in general, for doling out the harshness when it needs to be and being a cool guy.
Lally for working with the Stormbeards
Gothicsauce and the work he did with the War Knights way back when I was playing my cleric.
Maias for helping with my Minotaur character idea.
Any DM that's ever given me a DC.
Thanks guys, Phuuphum

To be honest, I don't know who to thank; but to whoever worked with me regarding being able to "teach" monk skills that were only accessible through Cordor to my young apprentice on the Dark Side. Had you not responded when I had asked for supervision within Cordor, I would have felt lost and wouldn't have known what to do to get those skills for that player. Thank you for enlightening me. I have a strong idea it may have been WonWon or Tormak. But, I couldn't say for sure. If you want to take credit for it, feel free. Also, to PoorVincente for following up on that bit of monk RP and helping Morgul get their skills (at least that's what you said you're going to do; and I trust your word. ) Also, to PoorVincente and the DM that controls Waukeen for the fantastic Green Lake Beast event that tore up Cordor and the Frontier. It was spectacular and has sparked some very interesting and compelling RP that I'm sure will come to the surface soon. Also, to the DM's in general for putting up with all of our crap: Thanks.

I would love to see all the player skills have a robust player taught environment over the boring NPC dialog trees. Shadowdancers have the culture they do because Shadowjup mst be passed down between players: No NPC can each you the things you must seek out an established PC to learn. Server history becomes more robust.
You are welcome.
