(retuns to posting with a grin) I'd like to know the cap on abilities and skills. as in how much can be added on the natural ability or skill of a character with items before it nolonger stacks. Also I'm curious to the exact working of ion stones. Do they add to the natural ability while activated allowing you to get higher abilities even though you've capped out with items, how long the effect lasts and if those things work on charges or uses a day. Secondly I'm curious about the wonderforge and truestrike items. What's so good about them? I have them I'm aware of the stats, but they don't strike me as spectacular, is it that they can be enchanced more with crafting then regular items? And thirdly a little idea that came to mind. Seeing as how the storage system has been changed to no longer use the tickets, could it be possible to share one account with several players so all could take and add to the items in that storage account Any answers or ideas are apriciated. thanks. |

First: Anything and everything that adds to an ability caps collectively at +12. This includes Ioun Stones. If you didn't get it by levelling up (or from RDD) it's subject to a collective +12 cap. Second: Sure Strikes are +5 AB and Keen, a.k.a. a Flawless and a Perfect mythal. Wonderforges are +4 enhance and 1d10 or 2d6 damage depending on weapon type. The answers for why they're so useful are clear from simply listing their properties, I hope. You mythal them, of course. Third: Too abuseable for muling and twinking. no go, IMO. |

No, no, put them back on your wish list. they last 24 hours and can replace +2 from a stat in gear, freeing up mythal powers. They're fantastic. |

Yep. The graphic isn't the only reason they're so loved. |

Iouns usually sell for around 10 million gold depending on type, if that gives you an idea. |

Oh my god! Daos has a lot of these tickets! I suppose I can just log in and see what will happen if I use them, but I will ask anyway, and forgive me for hijacking this thread but.. ...how does it work now, the tickets' system? o.O |

You can still retrieve items that you stored and got a ticket for, but you will no longer get a ticket when you store a new item, and when you want to retrieve an item you do so from the conversation menu. Also, you can buy extra storage. |

That's still a long way off even for my best character. Besides that would place them at nr7 on my list, all the way down. Besides I've never mind not having the best builds around. I'm here for more subtle things. Yossarin wrote: Collecting them all is a worthy goal, Frostbard. Hmm Frostbard. Like the sound of that. speaking of ideas, how about making something to make life easy for merchant toons. every time someone wants to open a shop and has lots of items he have to: 1. take item out of his bag to his inventory 2. put it from inv to shop 3. put it back to his bag 4. sort all items by type becouse they tend to go to the first free space Perhaps a widget that could save the content of your inventory so that you don't have to repeat this process? or at least dont force items to the first free space? it is making huge mess. |
