This is me just asking for a few more players here please. >_< I started my teifling and I'd like her to mostly stay there for a bit..but I hate being alone there. With that said.. if you are creating a new character there, I'll be there to party with you if want for most new players. Give me a PM if you want to create some kind of RP together besides the in game strangers meeting RP.[/i] |

Hrmm, well, you might try actually going to the RP, instead of asking for the RP to find you. Welcome to come by Tarkuul anytime, we can use more corpses. Regards, |

Except that Tarkuul is on the Island and she specifically says that her character concept works on Abroad, in Khem, Frozenfar, etc. Anyways, if people only ever went to the RP, everyone would sit in Cordor all day. I applaud her efforts to pull people into "Elsewheres". |

I recently made a character on Abroad and leveled it to 7 with lots of fun and little repetition in about 10 hours. Got plenty of cash and gear now. I mostly solo-ed, I am afraid, but that's what you get when you have an odd hour here and there. |

Let's try again, shall we? Anyway, on topic. I tend to play on B now, in Khem region mostly. There's RP opportunities for folks who like a little different take on things than what is usually seen on Amia. Read up more on the Khem forums if interested, hendrack made a nice introductory post. |

http://www.amiaworld.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=39939 Don't know anything about your character but see the thread for a group that plays on B exclusively. It's a once per week thing so leveling is slow, if you care about that. If you don't fit as a group member you could always try to antagonize us or interact in a different way. And what Nekhy said - Khem's got some stuff going on. |

Aw that's past Midnight on my time and I'll have to say my days of staying up so late are numbered. Thank You Tormak that is what I am trying to do. If anyone was hesitating on starting on B because there isn't many people there I'm offering to do some exploring with you. I am only level 7 which is why I mentioned new character creations. I am on CST but I can play mornings for a few hours.. 8am - 12... or at night 8pm- 12. Thank you Nehky I'll look into that for my other character. *walks away to get some coffee* |

Well, it's usually 11 or 11:30 EST, if you are CST then it's 10 or 10:30PM your time, no? |

If ever you visit the Monolith, at the least, either Vael or Ulrik ought to be about unless on one of their excurisions. (or baring that, another Weave Knight) |

well with the lack of preset history or DM events to lock Boss-mia into anything its kind of open to anything but its a double edged sword, yes its new lands for people too shape, but noone cares about the small towns to do anything with them. other then Khem, thats a locked in place if you dont play a person made for that zone better just stay out. |

Don't listen to Cory. One, he calls it "Bossmia", showing what he really cares about, and 2: Faerunian pantheon has plenty of presence in Khem.... if you'd look around ICly, which I can only assume Cory does not do since he seems limited to teleporting to the Alamber Sea. If you want to explore KHem, explore Khem, regardless of your character's spiritual standing. |

Kelemvor and Hoar have a big presence in Khem too. Lathander does as well. Though, sadly, it's mostly only through NPC's and story. Some PC's need to come in and fix that. I wouldn't limit myself to those gods though. You can worship anyone you like. Some gods just make more sense. Kossuth would make tons of sense, for example. |

Lathander was pre boss-mia when it was part of Amia more or less, the other two are by PCs and DMs |

Yes, I've seen other than mulhorandi faiths in Khem and Djedet. It adds for religious tension, and thereby RP a lot of the time. Note: religious tension =/= PvP clerics all the time either. Religious expansion is always bound to cause RP, or at least it should, I think. Even if you have two followers of two different LG deities, there's more they can do than "Meh. You're good too I see. Okay, bye." There's still ideas and differences of opinions that can expressed. |

In Khem, Nes'ek is the place to go for non-Mulhorandi worshippers. Dje'det welcomes other faiths just as fine, but has a touch more... continental feeling when it comes to customs etc. In other words: don't go freeing the slaves in Dje'det or raging about the other different customs of the culture, that seem backwards to the "modern Amian". That's what gets you a hostile welcoming. Imagine it as you, the westerner, going to Saudi-Arabia, for example. You don't go pulling down burkas and drinking in the public, if it's forbidden. The people you see as restricted and slaves might in fact be quite happy with their life, so it's not your place to tell them to do things differently. Unless, of course, it's hostilities you seek. |

There should be an overview of Khem history and culture posted soon in the island's forums to give a better idea of what it's all about. It won't say where you can find bosses, though, so I guess Cory isn't interested. |

do the DMs forget what happened last time, they changed my name I never asked for it to be changed back because it gave me like a aura of time stop that only effected RP, then DMs force changed my name back. lally had to go and change it or I would still have it to this day. |

I can also script random stat penalties to you alone with "You suffer because you said Bossmia again" messages to rub it in. |

when you see people trading portals to bosses (and I mean like the boss rooms) I think its offen firegiant and kravens that get traded off. I hunt alot, I see some very dirty tricks players use alot on B-mia because of the lack of DMs to catch them but even stuff people do on A-mia (the newest trick on A-mia is to get past that rest blocker is seems, but you need two people and afew mythals) but on B-mia you see level 30s buffing lowbies to all hell and some even follow them around and heal kit them, and cant screen shot it because they could be in party( fat chance) so maybe I call it Boss-mia not only because alot of people farmed bosses there (like befor you put that cap on kills per reset) but also to point out my dislike for how its being used over all. |

I tend to see more RP there than on Island, on average. If there are 10 people there, 5 are probably RPing. Never happens on Island. People like that should be banned or otherwise punished, anyhow. And will, if they're caught. |

If someone's not in party, and you right-click them to bring up the radial menu, you'll see the 'Invite to Party' button. If it's not there then they're in party (but not necessarily the same one). You don't necessarily need a screenie anyway because if they're dumb enough to do it once thinking they can get away with it, they're dumb enough to do it again and get caught by a DM. And then they will catch BAN and burninate in gamer hell for a while. |
