I haven't played in a month + so I could be missing something. However I just loaded NwN onto my Mac and each time I log in I get booted. Using direct connect vs. internet connect or servers A & B makes no difference. My game version is 1.69 installed right off the diamond box. Am I being punished?

New CDkey I'm guessing, need to have it authorized, can't remember how it's done, I'm sure someone will post how soon though. |

Create a new character and contact a DM if it's a new CD key - they'll authorise it for your account. It's a security measure to stop someone from breaking into your account and ruining your characters. |

I actually thought of that and used my original keys. Just to be on the safe side I created a new character and logged in. Got to see him standing in the main room for almost a second before I was booted again. *sigh* |

I find myself with a little bit of time again to play but the same issue as we posted in this old post is reoccurring. I haven't' reinstalled anything and I should be on the same CD key. I cam log in but none of my characters are available. User name: DieTrying37 any thoughts? |

Depending on how long you were away, they could have gotten archived. Happens after 60 days. You can unarchive them yourself from game. |

You can log in - with a new PC, and not get booted? Your characters aren't available - the old ones aren't in your selection screen upon starting? If that's the case, they've just been archived for inactivity, and you can get them back using the appropriate chat commands. On the Shout channel, type: f_file show archive And then, once you know which PC to restore: f_file restore myawsomeelf That's not the problem you had before, though, so I'm not sure if it's what you're after. |
