Okay so I'm trying to log onto the servers from my friends computers but on my account, and everytime it tries to load the server it boots me, but when my friend tries to log on on his GSID account, it allows him. At first I thought I might have been banned, but as far as I know I haven't done anything ban worthy, because I haven't logged in for a while now. We tried this on multiple computers with multiple accounts and its only a problem for my one account. I'm not sure what the problem is.

Yeah everyones having this problem, thats why A is 0/65 and B is 46/65...

Is this some kind of scheme by Kjetta and Disco to get people logging onto B?!

Additional note, I tried logging in on other unused accounts I have and all those work, the only one that doesn't is the account I actually play with, and its any character on that account not just one.

It seems we've got a couple of people using the same port, so they have clones in on A that're keeping it from resetting. I believe it'll require an admin's attention.

No no, I mean this won't let me log on A or B, and only with my normal GSID account, which can log onto other servers, and my friends GSID and my older ones can still log onto A and B, but mine wasn't letting me even before the reset.

Ah, I see... you need to get your friend's CD key added to your account. But, that'll authorize him to log in on your account if he somehow gets your password/login. Only ask for that sort of thing to be done if you really trust him :)

I trust him but I'm not sure that's the problem, my older IDs use the same CD key but all of them worked, the only one that didn't is the one I've been using lately.

It's possible to get multiple account keys out of the same CD key. Trust me, I've had the same issue after I had to reload NWN not too long ago. You just need to have his CDkey added to your account so you can play on his computer.

Do the following: Make a new character in your account when you use your friend's computer. Take this character through the entry mirror and log out (or start playing it if you're in for something new).

Send me a PM with the following details: some indication of what you want from me, your login, the name of the new PC that you made. I'll fix you up when I get the PM.

oh well this is good to know.. because I am sure my husband gets sad when he has to play on the crap PC other than the laptop even when i am not home.

I have a slightly different issue. Logging into the forums. Every time I have to.. which for years has been once in a while, I click on "Log me in automatically" box. Now it seems every time I come back to the forum I need to log in. Is it every three days now? or, every four days?

Its been 2 months since i was online...and now i get the message: requires the custom "amia.tlk.tlk" table or something.......hmm and since i know nothing about computers i need to know step-by-step what to do here....

Right! i think i have installed all of it now.....and actually maneged to put the files into to the right folder.....all done within 3 hours of time. i am able to log in now.... amazing! im proud of myself!! *nod nod*
