Hey gang. How often do the Black Caravan set up? It is a monthly thing or is it a random time. And are there any advertisements when they open. I really want to purchase some items from them again. THanks

It's kind of a random thing mostly run by WonWon. He announces when they set up in game, not on the forums. So your best bet is to hope to catch him in game. But he hasn't set up in a while, that I've seen.

I'd like to see the BC set up in Amia Abroad some times.
As it stands, the Black Caravan rewards those lucky enough to be online when they pop up.
I think if they started randomly popping up on B, it would bring even more traffic to the server. Food for thought.  _________________

There has actually been a LOT of black caravan activity lately, thanks mostly due to one PC.

I had the pleasure of purchasing from them several months ago when I was very new to the server. Now that I know what I want, I would love t see it open again. I was lucky last time so I guess I have to keep my eyes open again.

Is The Black Caravan a faction that a PC can join? Or is it a couple DM's out there creating a money pit for the server?
Just curious. I've seen them set up in the Market Hall a couple times and it's incredible the business they get! Always a queue of players waiting to buy something.

I'm not sure if you're correct or not Yurell, based off my own in-game interactions with the merchant band. If WonWon decides he wants the Boss lady to let PCs work for her, that's his decision.
As far as your general inquiries about the Black Caravan, I'd suggest asking about them in-game. Provides some very interesting, and often, compelling RP.

The Black Caravan isn't a "Get Your Easy Gear Here Utility", it's a plot that just so happens to involve merchants. A PC can join. In fact, there are two 'Public' members of the Black Caravan already within the playerbase - a Merchant and a Bodyguard. Additionally, there are a small handful of additionals who aren't advertized.
The operations in the Market Hall are typically done by Caravanner Shark - a player character that pulls it off very well.
That said - PC Black Caravan members are under alot of OOC restrictions to keep abuse down, keep things fair, and stop issues occuring.

NOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo! I just logged in and saw the Black Caravan sharks in the Market Hall in Cordor....then the reset got me! Grrrrr, so disappointing.
