I did a quick search and couldn't find anything (with or without the apostrophe), so I thought I'd create it's own topic:
Why can't it be extended? Why can it be empowered? Does empowering it do anything?

Since we're talking about Shelgarn's, has the scribing issue with it been fixed? The last time I created a mage, that spell was unscribeable and also isn't sold in stores making it something you have to plan ahead for and pick up on your own.

I think those bugs are why it got the DR and damage increases. You should treat it as a low level mordakainen's sword where it's a shorter term novelty and not your usual summon work horse.

Ages ago.
And its a bug in the engine, can't be fixed without a hak.

So it is scribeable now but can't be Extended due to a bug in the engine?

Correct, but it can be empowered.
Which raises my other question - does empowering it actually do anything?
