Does Timestop work on this server? Hehe Oh and Weird and Shapechange |

Yes, but requires a material component to cast. Also of note - Timestop does not stop time, it super-accelerates the caster, which the game handles by freezing everyone else from said player's perspective Edit: Weird and Shapechange both work as far as I know, the former having a BoT page. |

Yus, and Shapechange has a few nice little changes, like Dragon form gets Flame breath weapon, and so on. |

You need to buy something called the Sands of Time. Haven't played a caster in ages so can't remember where to buy it, plus that is probably something better discovered IC. |

Morene Armande wrote: Thankies, But what material component? :O Sands of Time, costs a fortune... which is low for instant victory.
Most mages use Time Stop only in emergencies and not as a part of the standard spell list. |

How is it instant victory, though? 9 seconds isn't that long to kill someone, unless they automatically fail all saves, then you could just instant kill them |

There are any number of spells you could use in that time, and several combinations that either have killed your opponent or leave them disabled and essentially dead. |

Yeah, Time stop has saved me a few times when I've slipped up when out hunting, probably my least used but most valuable spell when I am out in an epic area. |

True I'm thinking that way because my wizard is a noob and can't kill high levels for poop. |

Most of the time I've seen it used is for PvP - GS is usually the emergence escape button. |

Alrighty, cool carrots. Thanks Sorry to branch this out into even more questions, but what are some good epic spells, too? I was thinking about automatic quicken spell... That would make every one of your spells un-interruptableablebebelel But I want something offensive, too... You can only get 3 epic feats, can't you? |

Depends on your build, for which I would direct you to the build thread. But regardless of class, you get feats at 21, 24, 27 and 30 |

I'll most likely be fighting lots of angry PC thieves. Thanks, anyway, I'll check out the build thread *dread* |

Quicken spells can be interrupted and countered just as well as regular spells. |

Sorry, I meant it won't provoke an attack of opportunity Is there some sort of even on in Amia B? There's a load of people in it and like 16 in A. Nevermind, it was a reset. |

All mages get it, its on your character wheel. The check to not provoke an attack while in defensive casting mode is a concentration check DC 19 + spell lvl your trying to cast the feat combat casting reduces the DC by 4, so it would be DC 15 + spell lvl |

Everyone's like 'BEFORE GS NOTHING CAN HAPPEN AFTER GS LULWUT?' And I have no idea what it is... Greater Sanctuary. It renders you unseeable and untargettable by enemies (those with Bioware True Sight can see you e.g. Pseudodragon familiar but will be unable to target you). That isn't to say you're invulnerable - AoE still hits you. |
