Hi all im just wondering dose Cordor or the other citys of the commonwealth have a "peoples" newspaper ? as in not run by the government but by NPC commoners ? " obviously run byt the DM" however one of mycharacters has some interesting Articles and documents he wanted to be maid public in an official newspaper to avoid the "Random" posting of posers.

Please use the lore question thread for questions like this in the future.
As for the actual question. There used to be one called the Amia Paper though at some point they stopped coming. So no there isn't a public paper really though there is the towncriers and they are regularily used to broadcast messages to the people. Otherwise getting a box and standing on a corner can achive much.
Here's the archive of the Amia Paper

Yeah, it was cool. But... I do understand why he might have stopped. It's a big commitment to write that much when only a small percentage of people actually read it all.
I say, put together a team and bring it back! Different people do different types of reports, etc. That is, if people are actually interested in writing it. It would be pretty cool though.

Well perhaps if Yossarin wanted to start again i might have some great stuff to get it all going again "Red Wizard Plot tho", its going to get posted wither way but if there was a newspaper it be "cooler"
iv even got a Character Dizzy who would love to get involved with the Guard & other Cordor Official duties like the newspaper if anyone wants to start something up like that again. ( i know i cant spell but Dizzy could be a IC reporter and submit his finding's to the Editor )

Oh, the Amian Recorder is still active and still being published, but it is important to acknowledge that I won't bother writing for it unless it is directly linked to a story. I also pitched the idea for your players to write your own stories in the news format, and send it to me, but didn't get much bite.
The Amian Recorder, by the way, touts itself as the people's paper. It is based out of the Commonwealth, but it freely advertises that it takes a hard view of news with no bias, and will take on governments, both urban and rural.
That alone, actually, might tell you why you haven't seen any noteworthy or interesting articles in a while...

So what about that lovly little PM i sent you, do you think that that is directly related enough with a ongoing story as well as "interesting" enough?
if you could get back to me on that PM yossarin id really appreciate it, as i really wanted to post it on forums asap to get that ball rolling, however if you want to get involved and use the" Amian Recorder" and such i am more than happy to hold of a little, i have already been told a cordor guard was "looking" for valkin hmm...*<.< >.>* perhaps the ball is already rolling hmm.
Should i "send" to the "Amian Recorder" or just post it ?
