I am looking for help to create my second character whether it be a cleric or a sorc, now first yes I am looking to get a powerful build, but because I try to get a powerful build I'm also going to rp it from dust to a diamond.
Now to the main problem, I am not sure what race should I pick and what kind of sorc or cleric is powerful I mean offense and defense, mainly offense of course and self protections.
Could someone maybe tell me what race, what domains or what spell school focuses and stats and spell choices?

do something called Trial and Error. Make a sorcerer by yourself, get it to lvl 30. By the time you're lvl 30 if you're any good you should have learned from the mistakes you made the first time around, and just get a rebuild and fix all the mistakes you've made. It'll = a perfect build. Sure I could tell you what feats and spells to pick, but that's not going to do anything if you don't understand why to pick those feats.

I have the gift of foresight.
This thread shall be moved and the question answered elsewhere.

How to Make a Cleric:
1. Find a deity that you personally would like to RP being a follower of.
2. Study up on what the clergy of that deity normally have/wear/do/use.
3. Choose the domains that deity actually has.
4. ???
5. PROFIT

Also, there is a build thread where they will be quite happy to help you.

If you want decent spells, then you want to take mostly sorcerer (like 23 or more) and not much cleric. You'll be able to therefore fit in Divine Shield without much trouble and get a decent duration on it. But bear in mind the STR 13+ and Power Attack and Turn Undead prerequisites.
Whether you decide to go for that or another combination, you will need to put some points in DEX so that you can make use of some light armour or robes which don't interfere with arcane spellcasting. You may also want to have castings of Sanctuary ready or make your first second-level sorcerer spell Invisibility so that you can let your summon or your party tank the enemy.
Magic Vestment will give its maximum bonus to armour at cleric level 15. That's good for +10 AC if you get your hands on a shield with zero arcane spell failure.
Whichever class is going to be your offensive class, make sure you pile on to its casting stat. You likely won't have enough ability increase to beat a pure-class sorcerer or cleric, but you should have enough when you factor in (Greater) (Epic) Spell Focus to affect enemies with weak saves.

I refuse to divulge such secrets regarding sorcerors or clerics! (Ask in the build thread.)
They're like nuclear weapon technology! Don't proliferate.
That being said, Cobbit's advice is surefire awesome.
