If I have a Cleric with access to a Mage spell and I make a scroll, will the scroll be a divine scroll or an arcane scroll?

For example, if I'm a Cleric with the Magic Domain and I make a scroll from the Ice Storm spell that I'm granted through my domain, will it be a divine scroll?

I'm fairly sure it's arcane.

So I can make scrolls that I can't use? Pretty lame.

Wait for someone else to post before jumping to conclusion, I'm only fairly sure
Alternatively, you could test it yourself.

I think you actually can't scribe the spell onto a scroll if you only have access to it through a Domain, but I haven't tested this myself.

I'm fairly sure its Divine.

A cleric with the Travel Domain can make haste wands usable by the Divine Classes (ranger, paladin, cleric, druid).

That was a bug or whatever and fixed a while ago by Terra. So clerics can now scribe all spells they have access too, but it could be that they come out as arcane scrolls in some cases. Someone would have to test that for the interesting spells or one of the Devs should go through the list and do it him/herself (the latter is unlikely ;).

But it brings up the interesting question if there are special divine scrolls for some arcane domain bonus spells. If that's the case, maybe then Terra should change the entries again to reflect that, wherever possible.

If I'm not mistaken you can read any scroll of a spell you can cast

You can't read arcane scrolls even if your Cleric can cast the spell.

I'll have to just try it out. I got a feat last level, I think I'll just delevel and see what happens when I try it.

I tried it with a character trainer, and it just says the object creation fails.

Unless Amia changed how scrolls are created, Clerics can't make scrolls of spells granted through their domain.

So, yes, the item creation should work on Amia even though it does not work in regular NWN. The question, whether you can use the scroll, still stands, but my bet is that you might not be able to use it if you don't have UMD or an arcane class.
