As in "human + Shadow Elf"? Or "Moon Elf (Or other Elf here) + Shadow Elf"? The former exists, the latter does not. |

human + a drow= half drow drow + another elven sub race, say sun elf= drow or sun elf. |

considering that shadow elves are rare enough, IMO I would say that a half-shadow elf would require permission, but I am no DM. Also half-shadow elves are not scripted in the subrace system. |

No, they're not. For a start, they're not Ilythiir, they have pale skin etc. They are a different race. |

I'd prefer we have no half-shadow elves. Shadow Elves are so xenophobic they would never mate with a non-shadow elf (a PC shadow elf might be an exception but that would need to happen IC and I don't know of any shadow elves going against their traditional prejudices against humans or other surface races IG). |

Yeah. Not one of the standard races. Half-elf only extends to the elven subraces that are free to play without request, I reckon. It's not like you can play half-Lythari or half-Avariel without permission, either. Also, Amian shadow elves have nothing to do with Mystara or any other campaign setting. 100% homebrew, though I guess someone's original idea was to rip them off from another setting. |

This makes the rather huge assumption that all conceptions are consensual. A Half Shadow Elf sounds like just the character that would become an adventurer, rejected by both societies, admittedly not totally alienated in the Human one. |
