Just wondering if there is any leadership at Barak Runedar? I've noticed dwarves are a relatively rare sight these days on Amia, but I've bee dying to get my Dwarf involved in some Dwarven RP.

I haven't seen a single PC dwarf at the citadel since it moved to B.

I've only seen 2 or 3 pc dwarves at all since I made this character a month or so ago.

I used to hang out there with Kegs when the Silverbeards were active, but that was months ago. I play Kegs all the time but almost never go there, because as you mentioned, its always empty.

I saw one dwarf there, about a month after I joined Amia. I think I might've seen one more since that time, buying something from the shops.

I went there with my dwarf ... she waited there the entire reset on a reasonably full server, and never saw anyone.
I've not played her since.

I think too many people avoid B ... I know I do because I don't want to leave the warm cuddly Drow or Salandran party (which, curiously, just because I'm a member of one doesn't mean I'm playing that respective character :P )

Barak Runedar is a rather democratic community at the moment. There's no king at the moment and we're pretty inactive. The important stuff is decided by the Council of Dwarves. We gather every second Sunday in the hall to discuss politics, huzzah!

EDIT: It's silly to expect anyone to actually be there if there's no special occasion going on. We post things like that on the forums, that any player of a dwarf can join. We've considered making it public.

I think what people are saying O is that they don't see anyone much on there, unless A is full. I mean hell B tends to run at 4/65 for hours daily - expecting to see anyone apart from the 3 guys OMGWTFPWNING the Abyss or Spires on a regular basis, is hella unlikely, unless the dwarves make a concerted effort to have dwarves around the citadel, 24/7ish so there's someone to talk to - so you don't get these stories of there not being any dwarf on for 1 entire server reset!

Not surprising, since Hin can't access the Citadel itself, where all the dwarves hang out.

On another note, you damn sure won't see any if you get unlucky once and quit trying because "There's nobody there at all". I haven't seen any of you coming in on Sundays when we have the Council meeting, as Opustus stated. Doesn't change the fact the stumps could be a lot more active, but at least some are trying.

I think making the forums public would help. For one thing I didn't know about the meeting every other sunday. Nor did I meet any other dwarf who even knew about Barak Runedar. But that's just my opinion to maybe get some Dwarven RP brewing on the isle's. Anyway, dows that mean there is a meeting today, and if so, what time?

Next Sunday is the time for an official meeting at 5pm GMT. I'm not sure if some are planning to have one today, at 5pm. Been some confusion as to the times.
