I'd like to request some info on leveling zones, I've no idea where to level, i've been running around for hours looking for something my level, it's either too strong or too weak. Someone please provide some Leveling Zones?
Examples:
Forest of Death 1-15,
Western Outskirts 1-6

I must say, the unpopular hunting places look really nice.

I've had tons of fun with my lowbie cleric. I walk around a while to see if I meet anyone, then I use the party ball and grab some stranger and pressure him/her to RP, and then I drag him/her to some new area I've never been to yet, and try to complete it. I've made it a point with Joon to hunt in every hunting area of my range (save the Underdark; he doesn't have a deathwish) and do whatever quests I manage to find. It's an all new way to play the game, for me, and it's much more fun. I guess it has to do with the people I used to RP with leaving or going to do other things on Amia. Let's me go out and do new things.

The Abyss is for level 2.7 to 5.3, Actand is one higher and three lower than that.
The Manor of Mourn is eight rabbits harder than Kohlingen Manor, but sideways back from the Minmir Bridge.
The Ocean is drier than the Khem Lost River, but more fruity than the Barbarian Caves in Brog, which are themselves more electro-punk than the smooth grooves of the Frozenfar barbs.
Hair dye the Beastmen more than the Lowland Swamp Troglodytes. No pedicures for the Bugbears, although the Quagmires west of Kohlingen love a little toesnip.
All of the kobolds are on drugs. Avoid if Mormon.
A dash of pepper makes the Amia Forest gnomes sweeter, but grilling the Frozen Waste manticores and panthers makes them leathery. Fry.
Giants are best done after a neck massage, but in a pinch orthopaedic shoes will do, and they handily make the Caraigh goblins a cakewalk.
Brog Orcs? Drama queens.
Most of the roads in the trolls are bus lanes now, but the bicycle path system is excellent.
The Crypts of the Burning Damned, like the Gulgars, are yeast infections. Mouse.
The popular hunting places are old and boring. That's why they are popular.
You forgot efficient. The popular grounds are old, boring, and efficient hunting places.
Other areas either doesn't provide as much XP, as many mobs, or close clusters of spawn points. Difficulty and gold plays little role, players can adapt quickly, it's all about XP per second!

Well, that's actually not very true. I've been hunting new and old areas equally, up to level 13 or so. They're quite equal, and many "new" spawns are outright copies of old monsters. Many new areas are very efficent, too. If there's a difference, it's miniscule and doesn't amount to much.
I've found that you only have to go through the same areas a few times to keep up in levels, if you use all the available areas. No need to do the Trollercoaster a dozen times, when you can do three more areas twice each. That only leaves six runs of the Trollercoaster. >_>

I try to find meaning but...but...all I get is "ERROR:????"
To be fair... how do you ask ICly which area is suited for a level 13 character with levels being OCC?
By comparison to challenges you've already beaten. If you're level 13, you've been fighting Mylocks and therefore you can say they're still a challenge for you when you're alone, but with two equally skilled friends the cows are soon hamburgers. Or whatever. If you're level 3 and have no experience, you simply tell you've never held a sword in your hand.

Just wander blithely into interesting areas. If you die within sight of the transition, it's too high for you.

That, too. I did it with the new Frozenfar areas. Joon and a buddy (Coriander?) wandered into the troll caves and barely made it out alive from the upper chamber. It was incredibly fun, and I got to use my Trickery prayer power, turning us invisible to flee after I spent all my spells.
I don't know why I'm telling all this. I guess because it was fun. Try it!

Totally solid advice, heed it well if you wish to survive. But as for starting out, just head straight for Actand.
