Wondering about this for various reasons, and I'd like a serious result. Hence it's not in OT. This is no invitation for ideological discussions and Linux evangelism, Silvarus! |

I did have Vista on my laptop, but I retrofitted it with XP Pro with the service packs. The desktop is running XP Home with the service packs. |

The new tileset is really weird. Not only is it choppy, but for example.. the new NVidia driver fixed those fog issues and all the rest, but they are still present in the new tileset. They were originally issues with a new OpenGL release if I'm not mistaken, or a new shader model or something. Now why the hell does it do that when it's newer? |

Mac OS X 10.5 Only 2 of us? I thought there'd be more. I also have Windows XP on my Mac, running thru VM software, and I have the Win version of NWN loaded. But it barely runs and not at all in multiplayer. I think it has to do with conflicts with the video drivers. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd appreciate the help. I'd like to check out the toolset, and that's only available on the Win version. |

XP here too. NWN runs perfectly. I -can- run shiny water, but I don't think it looks any better with it than without it, so what's the point? I also think NWN grass is atrocious, so that's turned off as well. |

XP, with either SP2 or 3, I forget. I can run it on high video settings, and it looks really neat, but even on moderate it's now sucking up all my system resources. No virus that I'm aware of - I think I may need to clean my registry or something, but I have no issues with NWN and the OS itself. |

You can ask that of -everything- on a Mac. The answer has something to do with coffee shops. |

My Mac can do most thingies PCs can, its only really Macsoft that went for the cheap option of not including all the functionality of the PC version of NWN that's the problem, not the platform. Possibly one reason why they gave NWN2 to another company to develop.... |
