It's nearing time for another update, and I'm hoping it to be a big one, so, if you got a custom portrait in use for your character and want to have other players see it, send the files zipped to me. skymooo@gmail.com
If you're not entirely sure which file your char is using, Leto is nice helper here. It shows the filename of the portrait, too.
Place them in your portraits folder and choose them when creating the char or ask for a portrait change (5 DCs) specifying the name of the file. After that, send the portrait to Nekh so she can add it to the zip file.
Portrait change needs admin time, and they have much to do.
Joining a drow house, the Defenders, marrying, or whatnot that requires a name change... You simply ask a DM about it, and they'll hand you the 3 DCs for the namechange.
why would it cost dream coins for a portrait change?
honestly, the new dc system makes no sense what so ever....
i mean, if you marry or change your house you have to pay dream coins? thats just (censored) up
As Vegan said, the change of portraits needs admin time and name changes because of marriage, drow houses and the defenders are free.

Alright, a stupid question: How could I get those portraits so I could see them in game?

Just put them in your :c/nwn/portraits directory if you downloaded them, same with the ones you converted...except...well yeah, the portraits YOU make need to be converted.
But where can I GET those portraits others have sent to Nekh?

Artistic talent isn't needed, only good judgement. If you find a picture on the net, which you think looks alot like a certain character you're playing, you're allowed to convert it into a NWN portrait. Perhaps even edit it a bit so that it is to your liking...
Just make sure you have permission from the creator of the picture. I'm sure you wouldn't want to be accused of having "stolen" someone's art.
Every time I update something in R&L forum, I post a note about it, at least try to post one. It makes people read it, though I wished they just noticed that there's something new posted.
Questions: I have a Fey character & she uses the default Fey familiar portrait. I downloaded the portrait unlocker files. Do other character see her Fey portrait or do they see some standard blank? Do I need to send you the portait & if so how do i access it from the portraits.2da file?
