| Post subject: | Mummy dust |
Is it correct that mummy dust summons a Pharaoh Sentinel? If that's the case, is the Sentinel better or worse than a greater mummy, or for that matter a dragon? Just trying to figure out whether or not to take Mummy Dust or EDK. Thanks [edit: originally thought it summoned a lava wight, searched the forum and seems to summon a Pharaoh Sentinel] |

it depends.. EDK can be morded EMD can't it really depends on the situation. the sentinel can be good. sometimes the dragon's better. |

Sentinel is good for damage absorption. EDK for its fear aura and all round general extra power. Sentinel has all sorts of Undead immunities and is the one to go with if you're into destroying targets with spells. If your spell selection is more buffing/defensive, then you need a good attack dog, EDK does that reasonably well. |

I've noticed they're about even. EDK's are damage cannons, EMD's tend to last longer. And EDK's can't fit in most areas, whereas EMD can. |

[edit: originally thought it summoned a lava wight, searched the forum and seems to summon a Pharaoh Sentinel] 28 Wizard with maximise strength and neg energy burst means your Mummy Dust is buffed max str adding a whopping 6 to its AB. Mummy Dust doesn't require GMW. Mummy Dust has Neg Energy on Weapon. It makes less attacks but has huge DR. It most importantly doesn't get stuck on everything and is immune to Dev. |

Dragon Knight Strenghts: Huge Damage and attack bonus, fear!! Dragon Knight Weaknesses: Weak Damage reduction, small areas, doorframes, gets stuck in everything, mainly walls.. doesn't last as long as Mummy dust in battle, duration is about 20 seconds if you dont have Epic spell focus Conjuration. Mummy Dust Strenghts: Huge HP, Huge damage reduction, immune to everything, even a kitchen sink. Mummy Dust weakness: Rubbish AB, pitiful damage, my nan can hit harder. His AB is so low he cant actually hit the fire giant king fully buffed. |
