Not sure if this is already out there but I noticed that is really long topics like the build topic, it would take AGES to get to a specific page such as 53.

Well if you want to get to a specific page in any forum take a look at the url.

The first page of the build topic is:
http://www.amiaworld.net/phpBB2/viewtop ... sc&start=0

The second page of the build topic is:
http://www.amiaworld.net/phpBB2/viewtop ... c&start=50

The theme here is that each page increments the final number by 50. So if you want page 10 you replace the " =0 " with "=(page-1)*50 " or " =450 " for page 10.

This could be useful if you want to reference old pages of a very long topic.

EDIT: Move this if it should be in Off-Topic. Not sure on this one because it is most useful for topics in general, specifically the build topic.

No, this is useful. It's kind of like when yo want to see someone's profile, and you click on their name (OP used as an example), you get this:

http://www.amiaworld.net/phpBB2/profile ... file&u=988

If you want to see their full profile you can just change miniprofile to viewprofile

Like this:

http://www.amiaworld.net/phpBB2/profile ... file&u=988

I think someone else said this in another thread, but if you're looking for a single post in a multipage topic using 'Search', have it display by Post and not by Topic (in the lower left corner of the Search page).

And on a thread where you have oodles and oodles of text, firefox's Ctrl+F find function allows you to find if anyone has said, for example... "I think that" - allowing you to cut the bull and find the point.

We should have a search function for the powergaming thread, because it is outright hell, misery and unusual punishment when looking for a particular build

my address bar displays http://amiaworld.net/ at all times, no matter where in the forums I am.... I guess I gotta do it manually... its tough anyways cuz how do you -know- to go to page 50 right in the middle? I get stuck in the loop of *next*, *find: SD*, *read 2 lines*, *next*, *find: SD*, *next*

Change your bookmark to http://www.amiaworld.net/phpBB2/index.php and only go to the main page when you need the menu-bar on the left to check some rules/spellchanges/...
