Kudos to Vonean and Erika for being Saly's first guests in her new home.... It was fun you guys, wish we could have played it out more. Oh well next time. .*Smiles*

Huge thanks to Bjorn, Satherin, Borislav, and Lida for today's awesomeness. And the totally amazing DM for bringing Lara into the Club Crew I'm really looking forward to more of this roleplay, it's been a truly fantastic start to the server.

Thanks for letting me get into some deeper rp on Idan, Liz! That's been a long time coming. It probably won't be the last discussion, either. Good to have a priestess on hand, though!

And right back at you! I <3 Idan, and was super glad to have found him around again when I came back after a bit of sabbatical. I'm trying to think of what might be the inverse of the chain analogy ("a chain is only as strong as its weakest link"), and the best I can come up with is magnets. A collection of characters is like a collection of magnets: one really strong one makes all the others even stronger. Idan is one of those that makes everyone else around him awesomer.

... this morning was absolutely insane. Literally at some points. Matthew, Snow, what can I say, this morning was absolutely brilliantly insane. Thank you both.
Yeah, I was just gonna pop on here and give kudos to you lot. Hall, Ania, Elwyn, and even Beldor! Good Tempuran rp. Thanks for letting me dust off the old codger. Sorry I poofed on ya! The baby woke up yelling and freaked me out. Good news though, she just lost her binky and has her mother's temper.
A lot of love last night and a lot of fun times learning more about the different PC settlements as the tour continues. It's kind of cool to have a different avenue to learn more about everything different groups of PC's do and have!
Rosary, Rastin, Axel, Elwyn, Ania, Faith, Leola, Malandria and Fey'ana. Had an awesome time with you guys!
Some very excellently creepy roleplay from Viz'aun d'Vandree last night that damn near brought the whole server together roleplaying. All without a DM! For the first time in a while I was genuinely afraid for my PC. -That's- the kind of RP that keeps me playing this game

Ok.. I have to comment on this since... well, let's be honest, it just doesn't happen. What started as 2 people hanging out in Ceyren's Mill, turned into 3, then 7? Then.... 14? Yes, 14 characters hanging out in Caraigh. No DM's around.
What do we do? A patrol. An undead killing, mass mob moving patrol.
I know what you're thinking....... That's when all hell broke loose, right? People running everywhere, cats and dogs living together.... mass hysteria!
Nope. And for some reason, they all listened to one guy, and I want to thank them all for that.
No one ran off on their own, well except the bard, but... he's a damn bard. Only one got too far away, and... well, we worked that out.
Seriously though, it was great, from my standpoint anyway. All of those players working together. Sure, a few times it got a little dangerous, but, in all honesty, that group could handle just about anything, yet no one complained, not once. We all knew the roleplay was more important than some boss hunt, or stomping some unknown critter far away. Each character had a reason to be on Caraigh last night and it was all very appropriate to the setting.
Anyway, I just wanted to say this is the kind of thing that makes me love Amia.
Thanks to all these people for playing in Caraigh last night:
Leola Axel Darby Viola Salyesi Walter Marick Sam Queelak Ithilwen Rania Crow Meriptah
After all of that.... we slowed it down. Sometimes the most amazing roleplay can also happen in a single room with just four people. Well, four people, a puppy, and some whiskey.
Thank you so much to:
Salyesi Drusus Viola
Thank you to all of you who interact with Tristen. You've helped to mold him into what he is and I look forward to what will come in the future.

The Club. That place is really fun right now. Shade, Katya, BORIS. Even Avarice, who I've seen just for a minute.
I'm really glad to see so many new faces, and so many of them are excellent roleplayers. A mention of honour to Lyra Darkmatter, Di, Dietrich, Fymor! You guys are all awesome.

I just adore Castor, The story time that he and Jareth got when both of their significant others went off to guard duty was super adorable. Despite some of Castor's awful jokes, some pretty bad puns, and leprosy jokes. I had a blast, and I think Jareth found a new best friend!

Just wanted to give a big thanks to those who came to the Bendir Festival: took part in the activities; still came after the two crashes; helped out, made an effort with the costumes or lining up for one (Special thanks to Sam for that, as well as for playing Lilly), and lastly for simply doing whatever your character does! It was pretty hectic with a whole bunch of people in one spot, but in the end we got through it.

Ooooh god, right back at ya! "Matthew and Snow have to work... let's sign our tickets to hell!" It was an absolute blast and I can't wait for the inevitable day where their awful is paid back in full when the two of them share their full backstories... I'm ready for those tears, Raua. My Castor is ready. Marking down the days 'til I get to play with that little adorable ball of copper and leper jokes.
Sometimes I feel like my snobby elf's IC attitude is easy to mistake for my OOC attitude, so I just want to take a moment to say to all the dragonkin whom Kaithan has been snubbing lately, you guys please go on being the awesome, vile little vermin you are.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record.... I applaud the Wiltun crew, yet again:
Lord Avadon: The effect Lord Avadon has had on Tristen is impossible to write here, he's a huge influence in his life.
Admiral Darby: The talks. Tristen values them, and looks forward to them. She's such an important part of his life, though I don't think she even realizes it.
Lady Viola: His kins-woman. His friend. His confidante. I'm really loving the roleplay between them of late.
Faith: She's just... always there. His first friend on the island. He values her more than she knows, and would protect her against anything and do anything for her.
Axel: They're brothers whether he realizes it or not. Tristen only picks on people he likes. The play off of them is great.
Leola, AKA Awesome: Still new to Tristen, though, she's quick becoming a favorite. Always spot on, always just the right amount of cuteness and perkiness, combined with dang... some lethal shit!
Elwyn: If there is one person that Tristen can turn to and say or ask anything and know they will still back him up, it's Elwyn. She'll tell him to suck it up, get over it, or don't be an idiot, and... sometimes, that's just what he needs.
Wally: The newest member, and one that Tris knows the least. He's watching him, and knows he's making a friend of his happy, that's good enough.
Cory: We've never really interacted much until recently. Cory is like the Sleeper RP'er. Just when you think he's just Mister AFK, nope, he shocks you with surprising wit and wisdom. Tris values his words.
Kathrynn: Though not officially of Wiltun, she might as well be. Kath has been a friend to Tristen for a long time, and he treasures that. Another he'd do anything to protect.
A shy whisper towards Lyra Darkmatter [Mymothermeatsloaf]. Very cool character and it's been a while, since my PC could talk to someone that would listen (especially when it's mad talk:) ) Thanks for that.

Hey no problem! Lyra herself rarely finds anybody that she has interest in, Cyn reminds her of herself at one point xD
Whurak and Thane Cory..... Thanks to both of you for our recent rp, it has been a big growing spurt of Saly and I soooo look forward to seeing where her story takes her..
I might have guessed, if anybody was going to give me the chance to extensively quote the dea parrot sketch in character, it would have to be Gorthod. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Gorthod. Zoë may not know your name, but I do, and I love you desperately.

Thanks to everyone who made it to the Ruathym event - I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did! I loved seeing everyone dancing, the interplay of personalities, the vague undercurrents of hostility... wait, what? I missed the last few events with you guys but I'm glad my PC is still around and involved.

Ruathym lot. Much <3 to you.
Special mentions for Drusus, Vergil, Joren, and Viola. I'm really enjoying my time with Clara, and the roleplay with everyone involved in Wiltun shenanigans.

Right back at you! Clara has been wonderfully RP'd. Course now the secrets out it'll be more amazing I'm sure.
And for the Wiltun crew, such great RP. The dynamics and undercurrents with the different stories that are playing out are soooooo interesting... intriguing... mysterious... amazing. I may never get a decent nights sleep again!
Special thanks to Boots for allowing Dru to play a Disney prince to her Disney princess, great dance fun!

All deserving of praise for how these PC's are played and thanks for running with Dietrich and his... uniqueness? Truly excellent, unpredictable and hilarious RP!
I'd like to thank a few folks for some recent roleplay:
Viola: Viola will always be important in Tristen's life, no matter what comes next.
Vonean: She stuck by his side when he had a rough time, thank you for that, and her sweet roleplay through it all was really awesome!
Clara: A newbie in Wiltun, but she and Tristen have had a few interesting chats. Curious to see what comes of their friendship. Yes Clara, you can have friends.
I've been playing here for a few years now, it's been a long time coming. So, my kudos to characters both influential and intriguing:-
To my good friends Aurora and Raphel Gray, whom I know outside of the fuzzy grey walls of Amia. I played my first games of D&D with these gentlemen. Though PnP has always been fun, I didn't experience real immersive roleplay until you dragged me onto Amia. Two character's these guys play have been profoundly influential to mine, or my perception of how to roleplay:-
Whurak Valtensson (Aurora/Don'IsDef) - It was a late night, about 2am, when we first joked about the idea of the dwarven SAS. From this idea, we decided we'd play some comedy dwarves, Whurak and Grimdur who would do hit-and-run raids. It was an experiment, into how a dwarven rogue would work. With that lawful mindset. It was never intended to last long... But, fate is a fickle mistress. Pretty soon we were embroiled in dwarf politics, and thanks to Silent found our stunties at a point the notion of 'comedy' dwarves had been replaced utterly by a pair of mavericks learning the value of Home and Hearth. The Winter War, and the regeneration of Barak Runedar in it's wake has been one of the single most rewarding things I've had the pleasure of playing. But, watching how Whurak 's character changed and evolved has been the most interesting part for me; his transformation from an exile and outcast - to most recently ascending to become High Councillor. His many rebuilds as he slowly weened away from his old life, to embrace the faith of Gorm Gulthyn.
Irr'afae (Raphel Gray) - A miserable bag of secrets. But, she's always been a character I aspired to emulate; not for whom she is, or what she is becoming. But, because she's played with an extreme dedication to actions and consequences. Her insecurities are mingled with her strengths that you're never quite sure just what page she's on. She's a broken, mistrustful - but at times rather insightful individual, caught in a web of murder and betrayal she thoroughly despises... Yet in the times she manages to unravel that tangled mess, she just doesn't know what to do with herself.
Lastly, that I hate you both because I now have an addiction to spending time with a bunch of (mostly charming) eccentrics on the internet who pretend to be things they're not.
------------------------------------
Enough with the bromance, and my profound respect to the following people or groups for managing to hit the damn nail on the head:-
- A Mystery Clock: For Addertongue and her long, sordid affair with just trying to live her life.
- Nivo: For sensing motives, and for shouldering the burdens of the righteous for far too long.
- Barak Runedar: And for Fairdady, for cultivating the most pleasant group of people I have ever met on the internet. You guys have always been excellent. Dwarves are a niche, that people seem to either get or they don't. Most people will only see a load of beer swilling, grumpy old men from the North. But, I've seen beyond the veil! Balorin, Aaegus, Nana, Tagnar, Reddock, Rugnar, Glothar, Vigdis, Gorwin, Ulfrit, Khari, Delka. . . Even that coppertailed ghost with duck legs. We all know she was a dwarf, Jes.
- Phearnun: Bert, and being perfectly arrogant, yet noble to a fault. I have written him a lament. An Ode for a Steed: 'Polygons, Polygons, Polygons, Too High. Polygons, Polygons, Polygons, tell me why?'
- Eurgiga: For Corinn, for being a refreshingly genuine sense of 'good'. Unhampered by D&D's alignment system.
- T0mC4t89: For not letting factions stand in the way of being a paladin. Though I never managed to play her long enough, Tom's brief interactions with Sabal were interesting.
- Wiltun/Caraigh: You cant hide from me, you greenclad bastards. I rarely interact with you, but your characters give that bleak landscape colour. Shout outs to Aiseth and Avadon for their forum presence in the Character Stories section, I read it all. Like a lonely addict.
- Dead: For adding a palpable sense of macabre to any tea party.
- 666WaysToHell, Guano, Gryma: I've slapped you guys into a trilogy, because all good things come in threes. For being righteous and good to a fault. For that gnome for arguing against my dwarf's pragmatism, with ideology. To Nadia and Jacia for always being excellent to my Man-At-Arms.
- Broldi: For playing Shade true to his name, never quite sure what to make of him as he wanders the server.
- Jes: For her love affair with dragons, and the massive timesink to the server over the years. The only permadeath on the server I've genuinely felt crippled a sub-faction. Kohlingens Dragon Knights just weren't the same.
- The1Kobra: I didn't want to like Kurchin. I DIDN'T WANT TO. But I do....
- The Storytellers Triumvir: I cannot contain my anger at this being removed from the module, it was unique and full of flavour. BUT; To all bards, and the spirit that lives on. Continue being a bunch of weird thespians. To the Plane of Knowledge guys, and one White-Winged man, please continue.
- Anatida: I really enjoyed rping with Maral, and at some point I hope to have a spot skill high enough to actually RP with Immy - be it resulting in my character's dead or nay! I very much enjoy how your characters evolve.
-Rosencrantz: I regret not continuing our rp, work, timezones and other life-related things got in the way. But Riz' is such an excellent Drow. Kudos.
-VKB: Every character you play reminds me of a space marine. I cannot help but love every second of it.
-Revak: Ania. The only elf who ever walked into Barak Runedar and deployed so much placable furniture in the port; we thought she was selling antiques. I enjoyed watching Ania struggle to find purpose after Ostland, to your credit I thought she handled her loss in a very realistic, believable fashion.
-Eylon: I will never understand Rosary, but perhaps that is the point. My dwarfs think her more capricious than a fey. For your consummate dedication to chaos, and it's consequences.
Lastly, to whoever plays Cynbel! She's a brilliant character, and I hope you're still playing.
- Wiltun/Caraigh: You cant hide from me, you greenclad bastards. I rarely interact with you, but your characters give that bleak landscape colour. Shout outs to Aiseth and Avadon for their forum presence in the Character Stories section, I read it all. Like a lonely addict.
Come interact with us! We love playing with everyone!
I love roleplaying with new people, and people who I know, but only barely. Tristen saw Sam (AKA Samantha Lockheart) looking just a bit too drunk to walk home alone. He offered to escort her home, and the events unfolded after that resulting in a lot of time spent together. Until that time, he hardly even knew Sam. This is why I play this game, well one reason anyway. Tristen got to learn quite a bit about another character, and there were no tells, no Skype, no party chat (except when RL stepped in!). It was immersive and believable.
So, hats off to you Isildur for Sam. Wonderfully played and I look forward to more interactions.
I'm too immeasurably ancient and set in my ways to think of them as anything but the Black Flag, even though they aren't that ICly and most of their players haven't even heard of it, but I'm very happy with the Black Flag RP that I've been dipping into of late.
Kudos to Arcane Crusader for herding a lovely bundle of roguish cats.

[nick11689] Castor Zodayas ~Doomguide~ It was so great seeing you and having a fellow Kelemvorite on the trip to Heaven. What a amazing experience to have shared with you. The talk in Ceyrens Mill was just the icing in the cake. My sides still hurt from all that laughing! Woot!
[eye8paintchips] Rodrick Nightsbane Oh, Roddy it's been great having you around to complicate things! Keep up the good work.
