It's rare that I get to do something in game that is tactically and strategically driven in a battle scenario. But seriously you guys, everyone on board that Wiltun ship last night made it an absolute pleasure to play and fight for hours. Wiltun crew and others, damn. What a super diverse crew.

I can't help but recall competitively counting kills with Ronyo, or Abernathy cowering and praying for the ship not to sink or crash. Everyone crying "DESTROY!" as we sunk another ship. There were too many moments to name and to many names to write down, but I will try. Don't feel bad if I forgot you, I tried to remember everyone, but sleep cam and last night kept me so jittery the whole time:

I cannot thank enough for the last month the player of Lucius Blackwater.

Honestly, What his PC does as a speciality and what he does for Tarkuul is absolutely amazing.
If you want a class that's meaningful and comes stuffed with things to do. Look at the PM thread!

I have never felt so content walking away happy with five hours worth of role-play.
And you know what? You don't even get anything mechanical and I tell you what it feels better coming away feeling like Ahriman has had a massive journey in RP as opposed to levelling up by five levels. Mechanics vs RP.

Honestly. Give it a try, You would be surprised.

A praise, my kingdom for a praise to the folk involved in certain ritual of a while ago. I am going to be cheesy and say 'you know who you are'.

I would like to thank a few people for role play. Firstly the ones on the Kohlingen ship during the battle. Was fun and intense. You all know who you are.

Also personally would like to thank a few people for heavy role play lately.

Tuomas - I like role playing with the gnome. Everyone needs a pocket gnome.
Captain Calamaiel - Epic return. Love the character and it is nice to see a strong champion of the People return with a flare and fire. Breathing life into those who are facing disappear for doing what is right.
Derrin - Character are a lot alike. Both have multiple agenda's and seeing Ren and Derrin together is hilarious and brood fest.
Lord Ulrik - The interactions with the two characters are fun and enjoyable even if I haven't got a bloody clue what half the stuff he talks about is. Luckily Ren doesn't know either so he just smiles and nods while remaining quiet.
Lord Avadon - The meetings between the characters is fun. It is clear Avadon can appeal to Ren's more simple nature.
Valuril - Great role playing seeing a Shevarashian act proper.
Branded Phoenix crew - Intense role play the last little bit. Will be interesting to see where it goes and I so don't want to give away anything on a praise thread. But it will be interesting to see what happens in the future.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the event in cordor! Although ahriman didn't speak much he definitely took note of all of your unique traits and quirks!

This current plot might be a little heavy for players at time, but it's rare you see something that drives player interaction to the level we've seen it grow in recent months and in recent weeks.

Again, every single person involved with planning, fighting, running, lag-dying and rolling with the punches, you guys are awesome. Last night, there were literally too many to name.

Thanks to (essentially) all of Server A last night for the fun. Andrew had the unique position of interacting with every front and therefore possibly every person in the server and event that night, and it was amazingly done on every side.

Thanks everyone! The event was awesome so were all of you! nuff said!

Last night/This Morning was incredible. Everything Asya has been working toward hinges on tonight. I literally cannot wait.

And right back at you with the same points. As I've said, the RP was captivating and it truly allowed detailed and subtle expressions that hint at things much deeper to happen. Can't wait for moar!

Praises to Alaria- for Lyraesel Shaethe Arvaeyn for again, always enticing me to RP by sheer quality. The stories, the character, the interactions and the flight lessons are most appreciated. When I'm bored and other folks are probably RPing with Lyra, I think, "Man, I'm jealous!"

Akhiryth, my celestial bromance lover, apparently, decreed by everyone else last night, thank you for the flight lessons as well, and maintaining excellent RP while IC while being drunk as fuuuu.

The Wharftown folks yesterday was pretty entertaining! Thanks Samantha for not punching Madrik anywhere she wants for crashing into you three!

Those that were involved with Madrik during the evacuation, a sincere thank you and praise for all that!

I really, really, really wanted to join the event last night. But after the fourth restart and the realization that it was nearing 3 am, I decided enough was enough.
What little I got to see of the event, I have to praise Sif's player for making me feel like part of the event and reassuring my character (Lerodan) when he was totally freaking out. She's why I stuck around as long that I did.

And Clee also deserves mention for a spot of roleplay just before the event began, when my drunken character (Dylan) sicked up in a potted plant and every else present seemed content to ignore him. Thumbs up.

At any rate, I hope everyone had a good time at the event. Pretend Lerodan was present and crying in a corner and that would have roughly been the experience if I were there.

Thank you all who were at the final conflict with Reyes. It was fun, emotional and lagggggy! But awesome. Glad everyone got to see a different side of Ren for once to. Though Avadon and Tuomas... sorry to have snapped you both in half. Elf doesn't know his own strength some times. :lol:

Thanks for the Reyes slayers in BMIA! You were awesome! Also, the folks who participated in the search for the Triumvir, it was awesome!

EDITED/addendum:

Taro: for appearing with a "Camouflage" potion sample at the perfect time and for bringing up the Gauntlet…

Icky, with Sera and Gelndall, for talking about the Gauntlet, planning to go from Runedar through unknown territory to the Wastes and then the Gauntlet and decided it was a good idea. For the hours long all in character FUN adventure it was, and the high discipline in combat, which allowed this fine group to reach the Gauntlet without any accident!

Madrik: The meltdown when he discovered the fate of the library was heart-wrenching. Madrik has consistently been a character of impressive and distinct passions, and is one of the most three-dimensional characters I've ever encountered.

Andrew: Andrew is a cornball, but also one of the sweetest, gentlest, and principled characters I've met. I'm half-convinced he's secretly a paladin.

Asya: Lolmagic.

Glendil: A true bard if I've ever seen one; occasionally erratic but always goodhearted, it was nice to see him on a mission at last.

Almare Scrabblename: I didn't expect it at all, but Corinn and Almare bounce off each other in RP very well. I look forward to more time and projects!

Connie: Hands down the genuinely funniest halfling I've met. Others try hard or have corny gimmicks, but Connie is situationally funny on a fairly consistent basis while still driving home her point. Very very well-done.

Ronyo: Corinn hates elves, but Ronyo is slowly and steadily overcoming the weight of past experiences that have jaded her on the knife-eared bastards. He doesn't pontificate or shove his morals/outlook/ethos in others' faces while still living strictly by them, something I don't see a lot of but deeply appreciate.

Tuomas: Tuomas is like a great bowel movement: Consistent, smooth and pleasant with minimal mess. I don't interact with him a lot these days but whenever I do he always jumps into the conversation with little need to get him up to speed; his perception and intuition are excellent, and it makes RPing with him that much more fun.

Valerius: Vale thinks on his feet better than almost anyone else I've met. He's a fantastic asset for events or just general RP, as he seems to have a solution in mind for just about any problem and the resources/skill to pull it off.

The Dorfs: You guys are amazing. Watching a dwarven group in action is like watching a real group of people; they're imperfect, gruff, easily annoyed at times and can be bossy on occasion, but when the rubber hits the road they're all business. Their group dynamic is delightfully immersive and shows real dedication to the characters' RP.

To everyone I've interacted with over the... what, 4 years this plot has been going on? To the ones that finished it out with me from the beginning, and the new folks I met along the way. There are too many to name.

Giving a special shoutout to Pony for Robert- he was a true noble in a place that utterly lacked them. Never has my character gone from absolutely loathing someone to caring about them in such a short timespan. Alanna's pride is not easily gotten past, but somehow Robert was able to call out the worst in her and instead of lashing out... she swallowed it and learned. Their interactions were always such a pleasure to role play, as there are very few people Alanna genuinely looks to as mentors.

Yeah, I'm feeling this community is (for the most part) quite welcoming, something that surprises me given how elitist NWN communities can be.

And an even bigger thanks to said Phoenixes and some unnamed folks (you know who you are) who allowed me to play with a facet of Emilie that I have never touched before.

Jacia Caerus (666WaysToHell) and Madrik Street (MadrikVale) for the Nomad's Inn RP last night/this morning. I really enjoyed it, nice to every now and then make Nadya be something else than a golem with unamused-cat expression. Just takes the right people around, I guess.
