I second Alakton's Post
TEH DROWSIES
Though of notable mention are Riz'rae and Malag'yaz (You both know why) and Alakton, for playing such an awesome Evil Druid, he genuinely feels feral.

So much happened last night..
Great Rp all around. Special shout outs to Cyrene, Krin, Nayan, Jacob, and Velden. I was really, really impressed in the way that each of you handled character consequences (Each in different situations!). These players are cool cats, if you didn't already know.
Also, big thumps up for all the intrigue Rp that happened. You know who you are.

AzureLuna, AnalogKid - you both drive Iim insane And honorable mentions for those that packed a lot into the short time we were together tonight - Rigela (I was rolling laughing at Shyllia's reaction in the hallway), Drakos-Vek, and Sion (sorry I forgot the player)

Sull- Fighting the pirate last night was fun even if it went all wrong. I loved how your character was annoyed.
Nulara- for very good rp as always. Great character by the way. I don't know how you can type all that text.

Murex: I've been meaning to do this for a while bud, Jinzak's affected Sullivan throughout the journey together more then you'd think! It may or may not be for the better, but the relationship the two developed just from having each others backs is something that's awesome, and I'd like to thank you and your character for it. So props to you, man.
Also, all the hins of of the Dale! I love each and every one of you, every different person has been purely delightful, the community there is great and I enjoy every day of the chaos!
and to anyone who participated in the story night tonight at the Dale tonight, it's great that players can still come together and create the magic.
Kudos to you all.

From recent RP on Nulara Frozen, Hesh, Nella, and Andrew in Cordor: It has been an interesting party so far, and it's not over yet! Kylex: http://youtu.be/CG6JrqFARRY?t=2m51s Also Juna, Vanda, and Noirel. And lastly, Nevadan's recent conversations with Vera. It ended rather awkwardly! Fey magic and poems and emotions, oh my!

-Novel-length Post Alert- Okay, this is long overdue, because the RP on Amia has been so incredible this last week or so since I've been back!
Thanks to ! Eternal Vortex for Kerim: I really like the private eye thing this character has going on! He seems like such a good fit for Emilie's antics too. I honestly can't wait to see where it goes!
Sparrow Town for "Cat-Man" Quinn: Does anybody NOT love Quinn? Seriously? I'm excited to see him back, and bummed that there has been this constant air of preoccupation on Emi's side, but that's bound to change. THEN MISCHIEF.
Bobo for Andrew: Andrew has really become a diverse character since I've been on the server. Their talks are usually brief, but I always enjoy them for the richness of Andrew's personality. It's really exciting to watch him change over time, pretty much in a lot of opposite ways that Emilie has changed. Has the student become the teacher?! Probably not! Tune in next week for: Wars - How they Screw with your Head.
Pony/Phearnun for Robert: Sir Robert is always so fun to RP with for the Cormyr nerd in me, but the new added layer of a destroyed home land has brought out such a real feeling to his character. I was so glad that I wouldn't have to RP Emilie's homesick broken heart all alone. Robert has a way of keeping her guessing, with the kindness he shows her even through the grit and bitterness. Top notch, always.
Gorgz for Avadon: Special mention for the RAMPAGING. I think it speaks volumes that even off-screen and through-the-grapevine a character can such a large effect.
Analog Kid for Derrin: Another special mention for RAMPAGING. It's contagious. We're deeply sorry. Please have a cookie. Nice office, by the way.
Polar Bear/Phantom_27 for Raziel: Oh, what a tangled web has been woven. I enjoy the place where Raziel and Emilie are now; they really are like childhood friends. It really shows how long we've been with these characters that no matter what stupid things they put each other through, it can all sort of be shrugged off if there is someone in the trio who needs help. Also: Dat character development.
PhantomDream for Kaytie: It's so nice to have Kaytie back! I've been having a lot of fun with her coming back story. Kaytie's journey has always been such a real part in Emilie's life, and it's good to see it continued. Same as above with Raziel, I love that they're in a place where nothing really matters if someone needs something. Kaytie is starting to find that same selfless devotion in herself, and we're edging closer to becoming the Non-Judgemental Breakfast Club. (couldn't resist)
Alanna-Banana for Alanna: Such a turn has been taken this week for Alanna and Emilie, but I absolutely have to give props for that hysterical conversation after Emilie played mischief with the wrong person. Lanna very quickly found out that Emilie's weakness is Mama Bears, and Alanna wasn't pulling any punches. I really don't think Em has buckled under pressure so fast as she did with Alanna's "I'm-so-disappointed-in-you" lecture.
Anatida for Iim'mur'ss: Oh man, it's incredible to see that so much is changing. There has been a noticeable shift between these two and an evolution that occurred without even speaking directly to one another. It's almost like they play as an audience to the disasters of the other, and somehow progress is made. I really can't wait to see where things go.
Nakomis Wolfen for Darby: Ohhhh Darby. She may lack a lot of things like story-telling skills, and a resistance to shiny things, but one thing she has in spades is consistency. I think Emilie summed it up perfectly with: "If I doubted you before, I don't now." Whether intentional or not, Darby totally killed her with mercy. Thanks for breaking my character. Always appreciated.
NinjaClarinet for Aeliel/Valerius/Luca: Ugh. I can't even. Alright, I'll try. Valerius' unfailing optimism has been another casualty of world events in Cormyr. Him and Emilie continue to move forward and grow despite everything burning to the ground around them. Luca and Emilie, however, never ever seem to change. They do as people, but their dynamic is always so stable because I think it works for them. I am eager to see how they hold up now that he's back in black.
Ego for Richard: Get out. You know how much I enjoy Richard's RP, and it's been crazy lately. From silence to insanity in 3.5 seconds. I don't know how they manage, or quite why they put up with each other, but they do. They still manage to surprise each other, and each of them has been independently on the verge of giving up on the other (which were two amazing scenes in themselves). I love the dose of Richard's realism in response to the problems of a fantasy setting. It's been so incredibly fun, and they are not nearly through. Also: RAMPAGING.
Serbiris for Velden: You also already know, but seriously. Every time they think it's the End For Real... There is something else. After years together, there is still such a desire to see things through, because they're both stubborn to the core. I'll leave it at this: Thank you for everything. Emilie's story wouldn't be Emilie's story without Velden. <3
Obligatory catch-all "thank you" to all who have been on the fringes or under the table. I sort of gratitude exploded, so I think that's good enough for now.

To Raphel Gray's stories around Irr'afae and her journies, thoughts and dreams. I think that you are a great writer. I admit that I went a bit "Nooo! Irr!" at the story with the young elf being dragged around. Then I felt a small relief when it was revelaed to have been a dream Keep going Raphel!

Thanks for the praise you three! I've been enjoying myself RPing in the Underdark with Yaz, Irr, Gul, Nal, Miz, and so on! (and above ground with Phrae/'Tana).
I'm probably not going to post in this thread much because I honestly feel it can get a bit (unintentionally) circle-jerky, but I DO appreciate all the RP I get, and I'm glad people have enjoyed mine in return :3 So just generally feel loved if you RP with me AND loved if you don't, because role-players are all one great clan of nerdy escapists and it's an awesome group to belong to! WOO HOO, YEAH!

Azure: Lady, you’re a constant reminder of why roleplaying is beautiful. I’d sneak on the forums just to read your PC thread, because I always knew Emilie hid secrets and desires—and it’s so fun to read them when she puts them down in her journal .Now that I’m back, I’m happy that Kay and Emilie have patched things up and came to terms with things, because if they hadn’t, I don’t think Kay could have taken all she’s been through the past week without her. I’m excited to see where this thrill-ride is heading, but I’m also content on tavern-nights, and during their constant bickering episodes as well. They’re truly almost like siblings, in the worst ways. Now, they just need to get back into table-dancing mode: Bobo: You tease, you! No, the story between Andrew and Kay has been tense and difficult since the beginning, but it’s been so awesome. Their “love” story has been epic in ways we both know have been very good, and very bad. You know it’s so good, when as soon as she’s back, they fall into their old patterns again. It’s sad to see it come to close, but I'm sure they'll find a way back to each other in one way or another, too. Ninja: I adore you and your PC, but you already know that. Luca has always been that difficult string in Kay’s heart, she can’t quite figure out. I find it amusing he’s always the one person she can look to, when shit hits the ceiling, and he’d help her out—no matter what. Their story is nowhere close to ending. Although perhaps not intentionally, he plays a big part in her story now—she’s counting down the days, as they come. As for Valerius, him and his little dragon have provided endless amusement. It's fun to see you play something so different then your dark shadow, and I'm sure they'll get to know each other more as time comes. Ego: Well, you were an unexpected surprise. Kay didn’t like Richard one bit, and it came back with her when she returned to the island. I’m really surprised at the progress they made, with both of them willing to rid past grudges for one person they both love. Richard is now a huge player in Kay’s story too, with what they’ve got going on. Who’d thought the old man would become a mentor so quickly? Anatida: Lady, you’re deliciously evil and kind all wrapped up in a package. Though Im and Kay don’t get much alone time, Kay is so infatuated with Im—because she was able to do something Kay was not. She’s also quite scared of Im, but I mean—you’d be out of your mind if ya wasn’t! Your PC story is beautifully written, and I always get excited when a new post arrives. Phantom_27: Hello, you brooding man, you. Raziel will always have a tender place in my heart. They've shared many stories, and this last one was enough to break my heart--but you were such a trooper with helping me pull through it. Killing children has always been difficult for me, but coming back--I knew I needed to do something with Kay that would make her different. I needed to push my own boundaries, and you stood behind me like "Hell yes, let's do this. Brainstorm!" No matter what, Raziel will always be the overprotecting and annoying brother to my broken gal, even if not by blood. <3 I'm really excited to see where they both go now. Gorgometh: Seriously, even when not with your DM hat on, you still find ways to screw with my character’s head. You’re an evil man, but I adore you. TheGoddessAmazing, Calguin, Cortoy, TheLastDragonRider, harbringer, LethaneKayne (We will get these to together, soon!) and a bunch of other friendly faces also need thanked for putting up with Kay—even just but briefly, for the past week! <3

Malag'Yaz (Amadeth) Riz'rae (Rosencrantz) Irr'afae (Raphel) All excellent RPers! I was particularily surprised with what Malag'Yaz could pull off RPically with his character abilities and RPing them properly IC. Riz'rae you play an excellent Drow with the perfect attitude. You also have very rich emotes for her! Overall a very convincing character! Irr'afae I've seen your character for a long time now and she was always amazing! You are also a great writer and I do read your thread as soon as there's an update A brief outtake here if anyone's interested! viewtopic.php?p=1286506#p1286506I'm telling you, if there are any of you that want to try something new I would advise you to make an UD character. The crew down there is great and you will problaby have a lot of fun!

Wicket is a pretty fun, cruel bird creature.

Sei'rin, great RP session over a camp fire. Nice to actually be able to have a discussion on Hesk for once. Haha.
EDIT: Shout out to all the Thayans that destroyed Kampos... Sparking stuff to actually happen! I dig it.

Seth [A_Winter's_Night] - I'm so glad you are back man! But really I already find Seth intriguing. I can't help but think he is a true scoundrel, and can't wait to find out! So many people surrounding Iim lately, and I adore you all. Iim can actually stand most of you too! Alanna, Taelar, Jinn, Darby, Emilie, Richard, Vale, Luca, Grim, Kaytie, Raziel, Shyllia, Sion, Ren, Derrin, Andrew, even Sana... I'm sure I'm forgetting people! Thank you all for being stellar people to play with OOCly, and fascinating characters ICly!

The Thayans!!!! The world wouldn't be the same without soldiers like these fine players. My heart truly goes out to these people, I haven't gotten to see their innerworkings too much, but from what I believe I know I think they have a really compelling reason for existing and they at the same time just serve to be the black sheep that is needed to keep the spice. I really can't thank you guys enough, you're lovely.

Thayan Faction - I haven't had the pleasure of roleplaying directly with the Thayans, but I have been involved in a lot of roleplay that pertained to them anyway. My character Aella has heard them mentioned and discussed often, and seen the results of their handy work many times. Their actions ripple across the island and is generating a lot of roleplay for players who aren't even directly involved, such as myself. I've seen characters seeking healers to fix the damages done after their encounter with the Thayans left them marred. I've seen others actively trying to rally others against them. Whenever I sign on, there is always some new gossip to overhear concerning the Thayans. So anyway, thanks for stirring things up!
"Half-Beard" a.k.a. Andrew Fryar - Thanks for reaching out. I don't expect to be the leader of Cordor (even if Aella might), but I appreciate that Andrew took the time to entertain a newbie and make Aella and therefore myself feel included. Something even as simple as touring the barracks has made me feel welcome!

A couple shout outs: Wicket Witherdusk-- The interactions have been so very neat, and I have continued to enjoy my time interacting with Wicket. I find it ironic, that in a lesson on the nature of devils, she encountered the wrath of one. But it isn't the end! No, no, so much more is to come. Madrik Street-- What a wonderful twist! All I can think to say is, "Read the fine print.."Viola Antoniou-- For helping making this wonderful, wonderful sideplot. It's fun to see such a realistic character in a world of fantasy. Asya Goodmonsdottir-- For such a pleasant surprise! I think we both expected something far different, but it smoothed into what was a really refreshing and neat bout of Rp. Moar pls And to all the Thayans, of course. Where would we be without our nasty-foul Thayans?

two important shout-outs!
Vassilis! - Thankyou for playing one of the best evil characters ever. <3 Vassilis has so many different facets to him, and really makes one reconsider the definition of evil, and the man behind the mask. I just love being part of his story, and I love the background we have created for this brother and sister. I'm extremely nervous and excited to see where the story will go.
Madrik! - Where do I start???? The last person I expected Viola to get so close to was an aasimar. He continually surprises me at his level of depth and selflessness. He has influenced Viola in ways I never ever expected, and I love how willing you are to let the story go where it will. <3
P.S. I hate you both, you won't tell me secrets. *pouts*
