This. If you kept up in game and keep up on the forums, you'd know that there are already very high tensions. In fact, here's a tip, they're beginning to pick up again now that the Khem players are starting to show up a bit more.
And I agree with Iron. If there are obvious signs of the tensions, it should be by IC actions, plot changes.

No epic bosses please, and no more epic areas. Khem lacks severely for levelling from 3 to 12 and from 16 to 20ish.
I would like to see some Heavy DR/- on whatever you make though. I include elemental resitance in this aswell.
Thayan influence: Yes, specifically a slave market, along the theme of the Underport just more vicious.
In regards to the Chessentan, Shrine etc leave that upto IC at the moment.

I like the DAmage resistance, but do NOT pitch it up to much.
I know i for once do not hunt in the haunted Barak runedar mines because the Dwarves have -way- to much Damage resistance for their level, and give way to little XP.
Make mobs easy to figure out.
Spellcasters are deadly, but would lack ac. And vice versa...

Well if I wasn't so busy with the Order in other area's I'd add to the tension. Probably break it into open Warfare given the god I'd be representing. But I am busy, and we have our hands full enough at this time. Someone force Kjetta to come back with Luthor however and we may get involved.

Well, they are undead, and dwarves. Try a different method than blind hacking. Get some friends.

Agreed. About the 3-12 part, anyway. The thing that bugs me, as a player, is that A seems to have a ton of the lower level places to have fun in, while B has a ton of high level places to have fun in. If I could give one suggestion, it would be to spread things out some more and since you're asking about B (even if it is Khem specifically), adding more lower level stuff would be key, imo.

No. . .Amia has its easy solo grinding areas, Khem is and has always been somewhat tougher with Less xp/hour. Sand Minos for instance require you to invest in Bubblies, Mind protection, freedom and their boss will kill the average soloer.
If anything the Snakes and Asabi should be made harder, the Minos intuitive DR increased to +3 and their STR increased to being able to do damage, maybe even some on-hit properties on their axes, making you bring a caster along, the Sag priests given one casting of Truesight to prevent boss running.
I know alot of the Khem players would like the Desert to be tougher than Amia/Brog main. Tougher even than Forstakkr.

Well, the problem is if difficulty for a CR isn't generally about the same across the CR, you run into what we politely call "Quagmire Syndrome".

Certain area's are easier with certain classes. For example, quagmires is a breeze with a WM. Not so much for a rogue. Burning Crypt is easy for paladins and clerics, but try going their with a fighter at the level your meant to face them at and you'll get your ass handed to you.
I play a WM, I go into the Asabi area with him at level 28, and I still barely make it out intact. They are hard buggers for me. So yes, try finding partners. Every area isn't made for every class to be good at...except maybe fire giants.

Well, what do we have in Khem as hunting areas? What are each of those approximate CRings?
- Minotaur Valley
- Ankh' Bandits, Scorpionmutants, etc
- Whispering Rift (Will get expanded)
- Tombs with Vampires, Lost River with vampires.
- Saughins in the Alamber Sea
- Seven Sisters of Hoet

The Vampires are rather weaker given their location I must admit. Very confusing.

The Approximate levels i start doing each of those areas at are:
Minos: 9
Vamps: 11 or 12
Asabi: 13
Bandits and bugs: 9
Stingers: 15 but they are tough enough to kill early epics
Sahgs: 19ish (but i have done them succesfully at 12 or 13 with Zia and two others)
Whispers: Again 11 or 12
Tomb Raiders: 15ish (although they are one of the toughest spawns in the desert because of the Heavy Flailer they have)
Add +3 to all the numbers given and you get the rough average that the rest of the server can do them at.

Considering most don't, I fail to see the importance of your post unless you are saying that it is possible. I still don't see how it is possible tho, no matter what your build is, it would be boarderline insane. If it is possible, it must take a heck of a long time to kill anything. And just because each kill gives more xp, doesn't mean it always better.

No offense, but I wouldn't dispute Mosh's appraisal of areas nad levels you can do them at considering he's one of the players' that knows the Abroad server best of anyone and has made a multitude of differing build types and levelled them 1-30 there.

Yeah, he must be good.
I have nothing against him at all. You may have taken it as me calling him an idiot or something, but that really wasn't my intention. If anything, I'm saying that if those areas can be done at lower level that most people do them (in a way that rakes in the xp better within a resonable amount of time as opposed to other areas), then he must have mad skills.
EDIT 4 Clairity: Me failing to see the purpose of his post does not mean I'm finding him at fault. I could be at fault for not seeing the purpose of it. I just found it a bit random.

If you need more lowbie hunting areas, how about a small tomb somewhere taken over by a pack of werehyenas (gnoll models). Make them use Tasha's hideous laughter, to get that hyena flavor. Sexy, huh?

Because it came up in the Ecclesiastical Troika boards, I suggest to either move or put another portal into Khem that isn't inside a town/city/settlement so that the big bads can come in without "metagaming" n' such.
Also, maybe expand so that you can get to the Western deserts next to Nes'ek without going through Nes'ek itself, if possible. While I'm on that subject, maybe expanding Khem to where you don't have to be in a settlement map in order to progress on in the different areas of Khem. Just to avoid all the metagaming garbage and to make it more realistic also. Not to mention, it'll make Khem feel much bigger.

Other than Nes'ek you don't have to enter a settlement area to progress in areas. Hasrabet isn't a settlement and the Oasis is corrupt anyway.

You can actually go around Djedet without entering the township, though you need a pass a guard none the less when comming from Nes'ek if you want to go in direction of the Oasis or Khalem. But this could be tweaked slightly so the worst that can happen is a player character patrol to cross your path.

Guards only prevent you entering the the town in Djedet, and Djedet will only prevent you doing so if your conspicious. I don't see the issue with passing through Nes'ek either unless you truly are metagaming by bringing an undeader etc through the area.
That said, you can get killed by any Scion member in any of the desert areas because we regularly do patrols through the entirety of Khem South of Hasrabet because we "claim" the entire area much like the Dwarves claim the spires.
Town(RP) avoidance does not promote RP and frankly, the river Khalem is crossable at Djedet. You want to cross the river don't be an ass ICly. Theres no "Remove" your helmet law in Djedet unless asked by a member of the guard which will only happen if your doing some conspicous, walking through will get you at best stares.
No tweak nescessary.
