*High fives all around*
I love Amia. It's as simple as that. It's great and gets better with age, like wine or a good sofa.
I appreciate everyone, pc and dm alike, that has made my time here a fun experience, in both "happy" and "serious/bad" RP. It's because of the mix of action, RP, and just a plain good time that I keep coming back. Besides the insomnia, I suppose.
Zig Amia!
Pardon the Gundam reference.

Amia pwns everyone. It's like this!
...
Unfortunately, Amia is the dog, and the cat represents life (real life).
It's a mean dog sometimes, but we love it anyway.

Oh amia, what can I say about you?
Life has come and gone, and here you have stayed.
I have left, I've come back, I've left and come back again..
And every time I do, I love it more than before..
I've never been anywhere like this, in the community, in the friendliness of the players, and the helpfulness of the staff..
I've known you longer than near any relationship I've ever had.. and Probably loved you longer (even if I did have a fling with that one server.. Baby, look. I'm sorry. I was drunk.. and.. you have hundreds of players every day.. let's call it even, okay?)
I know you put up with a lot.. the politics, the players, the drama inherent in an online community of ANY type.. but. We love you for it.
I love you for it..
And that is all I can offer.
Also: I secretly love challenging Iron to ever more obscure information hunts.. (and getting on Tormak's nerves)
Sláinte!

*smiles* Best thing....the players. Regardless of whether or not I like their actions, I love the players, DMs, PCs, NPCs, even the mosters.
Oh and DCs...I know I know I shouldn't completely value them, but the ability to craft your character to full capacity with these babies is a beautiful thing. And when I get one I know....it's because I entertained someone....and that makes me feel good inside.

If you want mudwrestling DMs to ATTRACT players, Nekh, you need to stick Kjetta in there. Not Tranny teh emo boy. He'll just scare people away. Kjetta's our pwetty model.
Anyway, I love Amia because of its imaginative and quirky players and DMs. People who have no life enough to play a 6-year-old game and enjoy things like fake gossip and adventure because they have the -ability- to make pretty old-fashioned graphics pixel people's fake gossip and adventure -fun-. So many people in the world can't say the same.
I miss Amia too... I should log back on sometime.

this you was so cold. *snickers*
I love Amia. It is like a book I write everyday, but in spite of a word page and imagination, I live on my character's skin and I move around, I can see how they work, I can see their interaction, I can be creative, make a history and see how it develops with the help of others.
I love my friends I made in Amia. I have a great care for all the people I interact in a daily basis, doesn't matter age or gender, I really appreciate their creative minds and the people they are with me when I log. I appreciate all the huggles, licks, snuggles, cuddles and messages I get when I login. I feel great when I get all of these from friends.
I feel bad that lately I have not being rping with some of my good friends. I have being busy, I dont stay up until too late, and I miss to RP with many people. It is just tough, everyone is in a different group and I have to choose who to rp with now, and I end up prioritizing Delarwyn's circle because she is my favorite character and actually my character that most people like most as well.
I like the monsters to hunt in Amia too. I dont know how to build well, but I like to hunt.. Even if I have killed the yuanti 1000 times, I still have fun doing so depending of the group I am with. I met a kobold the other day with my fey and we had a great time hunting together.
I cannot play in another server, I cannot play another game, because they dont give me half of what Amia gives to me in terms of friendship, character development, stories creation, creative on going writing, and emotions.
I am thankful that MagnunMan keeps it running, that Disco keeps creating things for it, that the DMs keep making it interesting and that the players are at least for me a group of great people that I am very happy to know.
I also like this forum, dang, one can easily see it, I write here all the time

I thought it must be CGI, but apparently they actually did it.
They used around 250,000 balls. They closed off the area where they were shooting so no one would be hit, and all the cars were props.

Dudette, think of the many, many kids that now have an excess amount of balls.
I wouldn't worry much about it, for one they've probably had to ensure either the city officials or some environmentalist group that they would be cleaned up. To add to that, I can't imagine that the city's kids haven't been out gathering.

Earth doesn't care whether something decomposes or stays like it is. It would maybe start moaning if it had something like a XX miles long spearhead stuck in its side, and then only because magma would start leaking out.
There is such a thing as taking Environmentalism to the extremes, where the only remaining goal is to leave nature exactly as we found it. I don't think it has any impact one way or the other. Toxic substances, now that's another thing entirely.

Thank you, Amia, for being my catharthis.
Thanks to Magnum, for a long long friendship and a shared passion of gaming.
Thanks to the DM's, current, past and future - your hard work is very appreciated.
Thanks, last but not least - to the PLAYERS.
Without you, Frey would be so ..very.. bored.

I compare Amia with cigarettes.
-They're both absolutely pointless
-They're both bad for your health
-They're both extremely addictive
-After quitting you find yourself crawling back to them
Difference is that unlike cigarettes Amia doesn't cost anything and it doesn't make you stink (provided you shower between 1 reset per day) so it's tolerable.

I sent an offline message already to his MSN but, anyway, saying it here, since I am really, really grateful.
Thank you for adding the healing fountain to the Melee Magthere and fixing the Training Weapons' Merchant Disco!
I would have said it on those threads, but you locked them. xD
Keep up with the good work, not only you but all the staff.
