Before I can make any sensible comments, there is this one, looming question i need answered:
Are you ripping off norse vikings, germanic saxons or anglo-saxons, aka Rohan? A lot of names seem norse (like skald, Rune and that guys name, except for teh middle one), some again german, and then the society seems to be a mix of everything.
Im confused, I must confess that.
Edit: After reading it a second time, there is only one thing that leaves a foul taste in my mouth: the use of the word "Rune". It is very likely that is my personal taste, but being a norwegian and thus getting viking history stuffed down my throat from early age, the commercial misuse of that word annoys me. Runes were an alphabet, as well as a magical language, but had little to do with gatherings and hunts. If you want to name this after norse vikings, I suggest you simply call your meetings "Ting", and any variation of that. Sounds better too in my ears.
But thats just me ranting. Seem like a fun little group you are setting up there, though I also detest that 'tall, fair, blue-eyed blond' stereotype of scandinavians. Im only tall. And blue-eyed. Kinda light brown hair too. And I got a beard..... Drats.
