I kind of feel like there's this passive aggressiveness towards Christians, on Amia... I mean, it's not like only Christians get to (or do) celebrate Christmas, and it hasn't been that way pretty much as long as any of you have been alive. It's always been a holiday for everyone, about a fat guy giving people gifts, and celebrating the giving spirit. There's no need to bring my, or anyone else's religion, into this, especially saying little things like "where Jesus was born and raised", which is an obvious sarcastic remark about the religion (and if you didn't mean it that way, you need to think a bit more carefully about what you say when these kinds of things are involved).
I love this community and love Christmas, and this month in general, but let's just say "Happy Holidays" if you don't like Christmas, "Merry Christmas" if you do, and leave any even remotely religious discussion out of it, please

I decided to make an inclusive comments for all my fellow Amians who do not celebrate Christmas/Christian holidays, to include all the Muslims, Wiccans, Atheists, Buddhists, Hindus and all the other cults that are out there. Sorry (not sorry) to include everybody in my sharing of happiness.
And Bird made a joke on Americans, because they appropriate themselves everything.
You cannot really decipher the emotions of a poster through their forum texts. You're just taking personnal offense, there.
