So holding the view that the mechanics/lore concerning death in PvM should be upheld/raise Dead scrolls have a swap of name if they are not to be demands that we started out thinking lesser/expect less out of our fellow players? I think you've got it all wrong. I for one expect the best out of my fellow players. That is why I am shocked that this occurs outside of DM intervention/PvP where the rules on death clearly state this as acceptable practice. This, if anything, is reason to start expecting less, that way when it is not the best displayed, I do not feel let down.
Edit for iPhone auto-spell.

I'm gunna make one more note. clerics, actually clerics, some of them pray for a blessing before raising a dead person. one of the main reasons I am against...variation on raising, is because it demeans their roleplay, not just your outlook on life death and the beyond. are you really going to wake up and tell them "your wrong I was just unconsious, your god is wrong" ?
but anyway you all know my stance, i've been playing dnd since I was 8 when I got the red box 1st edition from a charity shop for about a tener. I have adamantly followed nearly every mechanic ever since. heck, if you read the first solo story in that you would probably cry, a level 3 wizard manages to charm and kill a cleric with two spells unless you roll the 1st ed equivilent of a will save (vs spells cause charm) of 18+...
dnd isn't supposed to be easy, or calming on the mind, its supposed to scare the living bejesus out of you.
