Hello, I thought I'd extend an invitation to any and all players who wish to have a smallish (which could develop into a biggish) plot/quest ran by a DM hoping to brush the dust off. If you do, submit the following form to [deleted]
-
Forum Login: Gamespy ID: (Your)Characters: Faction (If any): General Outline: E.g. My gnome wants to research a specific plane such as the 666th layer of the abyss, you know, the one with the weird fluffy bunnies, ran by the Llama Lord of Berets. Characters Involved (the more the better, and the more likely it'll be run): What you hope to achieve: Preferred style of DMing: Hacking and slashing, text based roleplay, dark fantasy, humourous, completely random - that kind of thing.
-
Lore: You'll know if I'm uncertain of something you request.
-
REMEMBER!
I'm primarily a european DM, except on weekends.
I can't do any plots that directly effect Ralten's Band, or any of my characters. What I mean by this is, I won't run plots that involve hiring on hoards of assassins to butcher the Band or Gorthod, because I can't be in two places at once.
Submitting a request does not mean I will run you a plot/quest.
If I do decide to run it go into the plot thinking "This isn't going to go my way, at all."
I only want the general gist, not a 6 page essay please!
I think I'll probably get a lot of requests so don't be disheartened if I don't get back to you right away (I'll try and respond to each of you.)
I haven't run a DM plot in around 18 months so the first few I start will most probably be very sketchy, but soldier through it and we'll get to where we're going.
When you submit your idea it becomes my idea so how I pursue said idea is ultimately up to me.
Entering the plot you submit yourself to my whimsical and sadistic nature which can lead to permanent consequences (but not permadeath unless you do something spectacularly stupid.)

A cudos to a DM offering his services like this and a double cudos for being European!
Sincerely hope someone will take you up on this offer, I know I will later on as my characters epic journey on Amia matures to a level where DM assistance will be required / preferred..

Just a casual reminder; asking for plots on msn won't do you any good! I'm going through the plots as I recieve them in my email. Also; food for thought, entering the plot you submit yourself to my whimsical and masochistic nature which can lead to permanent consequences (but not permadeath unless you do something spectacularly stupid.)
If you're having trouble thinking up a plot but would like one run poke your fellow players for ideas. Once I recieve a certain amount of requests I will be locking this thread until I free up my quest load once more.

1. When a plot is decided upon, can you let us know the basics in case we want to join in?
2. Will this require all characters involved all the time, or just most of the time? I don't yet know the exact schedule, but I'd imagine not all who participate will be on every time, so that's why I ask.

Are characters required to be level 30 to participate?

Nope, you have to find that information out IG, that is if I'm not completing your plot request. If it's your request you'll obviously have a vague idea of what it's about. 2. No. TeroSNS wrote: Are characters required to be level 30 to participate? No.

Damn sleep deprevation. SADISTIC. I'm not going to run a plot that has absolutely nothing to do with my characters and then suddenly say "Oh, Gorthod gets abyssal fire crabs" out of the blue, that'd be weird. But funny.
