Hi Folks, It has been a long time since I posted anything in the forum or even played for long. But, while I was gone I did log a few times and couldn't use two of my characters as I wished because changes I wanted to be done before I left was still pending. I remember that several months ago when I was still playing daily, someone found a way to color the fairy wings. since I don't play for a long time, I am not sure if it is something that I can do by myself now or if I still need to ask a dm online. I would like to know also which DM know how to change the color of the fairy wings, so we can schedule a time for me to connect and have that changed, if possible. My purple fey bard still has her green one, because the two dms I asked when that change was introduced didnt know how to do it. The second request is a more complex one. It is about the reskin for druids EDK, so we don't have to have the dragon. I made a request a long time ago for a treant. Then, Ron suggested a huge eagle - Roc? - But, the bird didn't look nice when blown too big. He was playing with it and I am not sure if it was fixed or not. Before I left I was waiting to know if it was possible to increase the size of the Roc in order to choose between the two. So, my question is, is it possible to get the huge bird to replace the dragon? if not, do I need a formal request for the treant reskin and even for the Roc? Thank you!

I have no idea about wings. I've never played a winged PC ever.
As for the second question: Yes, you have to send in a formal request for any reskin.
For a Roc, I think you'll have trouble finding a skin to fit. You have to remember that Roc's are -HUUUUUGE-! They're 30 feet long from tail feather to beak, 80 feet wide with their wings spread out and weigh 8,000 pounds, give or take. These are massive beasts. There's a giant eagle skin that's kinda big who someone uses as their summon to represent exactly that, a giant eagle. But even at 200%, I'm not sure it'd do a Roc justice for the massive massive animal it truly is.
As for the Treant, yep, there's a skin for that now. I have one with Willow, actually.

The first thing is easy enough to do for you, mind you. They're wings coloured off your tattoo shades.

I'd am between knowing how and not knowing how to do it. The spots on the fey wings use skin, There might be away to make it use hair. The rest it tattoos. But some parts do use skin color.
To change it we'd need to change the model so it knows what field to look for when coloring. That's the part I do not know how to change, though it should be set up already, we just need to change like one line. Wherever it is in the model.
I think its easier in NWNMax, but I still have trouble with that thing. I only use it to fix models to make them independent when I make creature overrides.

Well thank you, So, the roc is still in the same situation. Oh, well, I will prepare the request for the Treant. And in Lisselle case, her tattoos are the color of her skin so they wouldn't show much. If changing the color of the tattoo solves it, great. If not then I can wait. I was actually invited to make a man at arms for a barony, so I will try and get a build and background ready for it.

Thy/Forestsong has a Roc familiar, so I don't think having a Roc as a replacement skin for EDK would be impossible. I certainly don't think it should be shot down as a possibility given the standard already exists.

It's not a Roc. A Roc is a bird that makes a habit out of eating Elephants...

Rock's aren't even eagles at all, let alone big eagles. The summon you've seen is a Giant Eagle, a whole other being. Giant Eagles are sentient beings, they're magical beasts, and are tons smaller than a Roc. Roc's are actually just animals, they're not sentient, they're not magical beasts, just animals. Big animals.

If anything, a Great Wyvern scaled up some looks more like a Roc than a big ol eagle, when it comes to size and proportions. I don't imagine a Roc flapping in the air the whole time it's out, like the Giant Eagle model would. Too big, too much energy. It'd be perched on the ground and smacking you about, unless it was traveling. The bigger a creature gets in D&D, usually, the quality of flight goes down(Perfect, Good, Fair, Poor, etc). I imagine Rocs would have Poor or Clumsy... I forget... but they certainly wouldn't hover for long periods of time.
