I play from Canada Quebec, and i'm starting to think that theres some limited connectivity problem.
Its been 2 days that i am having difficulty to connect to Amia both server now shows.
No Modules.
0/0 players
255/255 lvl
Ping 0
So i am believing this is due to a limited connectivity problem OR the server signal as weakened by someting damaged or weathered.
Its seems to be serverside since all my hardwares is fine and my internet company is running maintenance on the daily.
But sometime the modules show up and all is fine i join but now i have an incredible amount of lag and the game is barely playable.

Have the same problem from Australia despite not having any issue on other worlds.
Huge lag spikes including timeouts. Server often doesn't respond when trying to connect. get semi-disconnected midplay (am still on and can talk but new objects cease to register as being there)

mmm Gonna look into it but its odd right now im back in the game and its running just fine, any reason?
A little question... whats a Tracert?.

Queenslanders... call it karma for winning the Origin.
I'm on telstra roaming wireless (you know those silly USB sticks) on the border of NSW/VIC and I get the same issues. Remember that the server's a long way away from home so lag is to be expected, especially during this time of the year because its American's galore as all the uni students and kids are on their summer holidays.

for me it is consistantly falling over at step 8
atrato-ip-networks-as5580.tengigabitethernet1-3.ar4.ams2.gblx.net [207.138.128.42]
lost packets approximately 1/3 of the time and pings of around 800 when it doesn't.
it's well outside my isp's network so its not a problem on their or my end.

Australia, Nsw.. I get horrible lag and time outs here a lot, blame it on distance, or get grumpy, both work!

New Zealand. Slowest internet in the developed world. Middle of no where, and furtherest away from the server then any of you.
I have NO issues.

it's not the distance.
when you are getting packet loss it is a connection issue with a computer along the data path. Of course the greater the physical distance the greater number of jumps typically needed from A to B so the more likely that one of them is a weak link.

Errr, I don't see a tracert posted in this thread.
Disco had been in Germany for the last few weeks. He only just came online yesterday with his mobile account. If you sent a PM with the trace to his normal account he probably hasn't checked it yet.

That hop is in Amsterdam with an International ISP that serves Europe, pretty SOL, since you're getting packets at all, you aren't routing around it.

Can you send a full tracert without the first step? That way you keep your IP out of it but I still can see what happens.

I've been running tracerts for the last couple days from the US. I get pretty decent lag pockets once in a while, though I've only been disconnected a couple of times.
(212.23.41.145). I've actually timed out at that point in the jump before. Though it normally lets the packets through, it's the only place I've managed to lose packets as well.
