I recommend "longevity" in line 5, "skeletal arm" in 9, and "Dead Man's Paradise" as the chorus.

Meh, I like Necromancer's better. Skeletal arm and longevity sound good though.

Necromancer is four syllables when what you need is two. Shorten it to Necro, or find something more suitable that is only two syllables. You could slide on this if you were performing a patter in a parody rather than a direct parody.

PS: The Quote: And I've been killing' and slayin' so long that Even Valsharon thinks that my mind is gone Would I in hindsight replace with Quote: And I've been killing' and slayin' so long that Even Cyric thinks that my mind is gone
Or any other God of Insanity and Murder. Just for the kicks.

No, it is from Coolio's "Gangster's Paradise". Yankovic made a parody of that called "Amish Paradise". Judging from the tone of my responses, you should realize that this thread is about haughty bards being critical of others in their profession in order to sound as though they are more accomplished artists, so it is important to give Coolio, the original artist, his due.
And Cyric observes the meter far better than Velsharoon. A fair suggestion that I would have made myself if it were not for the fact that I merely decided not to say anything about it to see if someone else with a worthy ear would take notice.

Yup, it was Coolio (featuring L.V in the chorus).
Weird Al has a reputation for complete overhaul parodies of popular songs (Like a Surgeon, Eat It, etc). Pretty much what you lot are doing to them.

Actually I chose Cyric because he is a mad god.. nothing else *cough*
And if a mad god thinks you have lost your mind then you are truly lost

And as I recall, Weird Al got in a butt ton of trouble because the parody of "Gangsta's Paradise" was never authorized, though he was told it was.

I was speeding up "Livin' in a Necro-" So that the notes went down on Necro. At first I didn't see how Dead Man's was better, now I do, however. Dead Man's it is! (For me, despite myself never using this.. *Sniffle.*)
