Well, Yea.
I've got a question - Does monks have some natural +5 Enchantment when they're unarmed? Becaus it doesn't seem like -any- enemy i encounter resist my monk's damage...
Is there some secret monk-upgrade im not aware of?
Becaus it looks like the +3 Ki strike you get at level 16, is a +5 Ki strike (passive) ability

Only if they take the Ki strike +4 and +5 ability, only then they got the +5 enhancement.
Your gloves count too. Say, they are +4 Ab gloves, so you can pierce +4 DR with them.

Yep. +5 AB on gloves will cut right through stoneskin, premonition, and most other forms of damage resistance. Only 5/- vs. Bludgeoning and 10/- vs Bludgeoning, and innate DR feats like barbarians and DwDs get will really resist it.

Will help unless they have +5 monk gloves which aren't hard to get.
On that note: high wisdom does actually let you take the feats Ki Strike +4 and Ki Strike +5. But they don't actually add AB or damage at all, they just give you "effective enhancement". It'd be better on a low magic world where you couldn't buy +5 monk glvoes off your local monastery.
