There is the official Amian Headpack on the sidebar.
And then there is a to-be-official headpack expansion buried off in some things to change thread.
You're probably seeing all those folks who grabbed the beta version of the headpack.

There's problems with them?

There are currently 2 headpacks availabel.
1) Complete and finished. Sidebar.
2) In the process of being completed.
You fail to see the heads if you do not have headpack 2 that is in the works. My understanding is that the 2nd headpack is mostly waiting to have more models put in, tested, and verified that they'll work without wonky glitches.
You can take the 2nd headpack if you want. I just don't have the link to where if got buried in.
I, personally, am just dealing with "headless" until both headpacks are officially completed. It's a preference call right now.

Exactly how many heads does this beta pack add?
Or better yet, is it actually worth considering as a legit download that the server will use in time? Or just a fan pack made by some players who like to be elitist arses?

Not sure how many it adds but it was devolped by mahatan so I figure that when it is added to the regular head pack as he said it would happen one day, then it would be official.

So it's being developed by someone in the DM/development team then. That rules out my elitist arses theory.

I agree.
I seem to remember someone complaining when their head changed because the number in the Beta did.

I agree with tormy as well, one should have the beta version finished before releasing it to the public, as I believe those who use the beta heads now believe they are good to go.

Should have been run through the testers first definately. It's why we're here.

Too late to really fix it now.
I just let the headless suffer.

There's nothing to test here. We'd still have headless PCs. It's not like new areas.

That's why it's a Beta and not a Final version

My personal opinion with that as a beta is if something changes (such as the head number changes and so your head is wrong) ... tough.

*Bad link removed*
There is all the heads. Humans and Elves. The Hin are all just children heads nothing really good for hin. And I don't have the time to go through with the rest of the races. This includes some different female heads and lots of male heads so all the guys don't hog the one good looking head.
The head 143 issue is solves and everything will work fine. Im done with this stuff packaged here and it can be added to the official Headpack.

I know the guys will be happy there are finalyl male heads to use. The majority of heads sent to me were already in Amia's head pack. Or they were anime/furry heads. Which I will never include as long as Im the one making the head pack.

Will the new pack change the old heads? Or is it just an adfition to the old one?

It adds more. It if it overwrites something. It wasn't from Amia's head pack.

Hrrn, it wanted to overwrite files for me, and I don't have another headpack.

I believe that is due to the fact that the updated head pack also contians the previous heads as well thus you are just adding the same heads in there plus the new heads.
