Am i being kinda blind about a description somewhere, 'cause, i was looking at the factions and most of them are private and have no description. I recognise that such things are normally IC, but still, at the very least knowing whats what tends to help hehe, 'cause its just a list of names from where i'm sitting. Except one or two, like the crafter or three steps. But things like the Shadowflame or horsemen or whatnot, no clue what they are. And you'd think there'd be a book or two on a faction in the Cordor library for your character to learn at least the basics of 'em, right?

Best to ask around in game mate. There's no better way to learn.

Paladin of Torm fits well into Triadic knights or defender factions, both based in Kohlingen. You find us there.

Its to stop meta-gaming.
When information was public, there was heaps of problems with meta-gaming.

Try to be a bit nicer. All the factions try quite hard at what they do and yours isn't exactly a fair comment.

Hint: You can't see all the factions in that list anyway, some are hidden.

Considering you've only been around for 4 months on the forum, I kinda laugh when you say you've seen what most factions have to offer. You've actually got to hang around one faction for atleast 3-4 months to actually appreciate them and the effort the faction leaders go to.
For the Original Poster, you have to be active in a faction to get the most enjoyment out of them. You have to devote your time to them and contribute.

Find a faction you like and stick with it- it is rewarding and a good way to become well known.

Factions help give you more interaction I feel. Join one! Look the known ones up on amia wiki (sidebar). The secret squirrel ones, only via in game methods can they be contacted usually.
