Hey guys,
Some of my IRL friends want to play on amia with PS and I so we're working on it and we've got like three friends who want to join in but we can't figure out the current CD key issue so we'd like some help.
Can you tell us precisely the current process that you have to go through to get your multiplayer key? The current gog key situation is extremely confusing and we would really love your help.
In specific: I think Tormak recently got a couple of free keys during the recent sale so he knows the best how to get your multiplayer keys so if he could chime in that would be best.

You need to request new Multiplayer Keys from the GOG website, otherwise you'll be stuck with the default one and you wont be able to join servers on keys duplicated by other people.
In short, follow Commie's link! They usually deliver it within a day or two. Make sure to ask before a weekend hits.

Quote: To play Neverwinter Nights online, you will require a unique CD key. It is located on your account (on the website, not in Galaxy client). Please input it in the Multiplayer Key Changer that you can find in the Start menu, or in Galaxy, under MORE -> Other -> CDKey Changer.
Changing the CD key will result in the premium modules (like Kingmaker) not working anymore, because they will use the default key for validation. To get around this, go to your My Account page and find the "premium modules re-installer", under the game's additional content. Download this file and install it. The modules will now be adapted to the new CD keys.
Please note that Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2 master servers are no longer functional. That's what I decided to do with Solothain's key I just opened up the files and copied stuff from the count manually in to it.
I haven't tested this one yet HOWEVER- the instructions given do not match up with this method.
You can go to account > library> nwn diamond >more > serial keys> then just copy those in to the file?
Once the Haks are finished DL'ing I'll let you know how this works.

Ah. Yeah, just checked a few message boards and they say just go into your nwncdkey.ini
Should be able to find it in your folder for GOG > Neverwinter Nights
There should be three CD keys for your copy. If you go to your GOG library, click on the details of the game, you can find them under there.

Because those instructions they send you in teh email do not any way or means tell you how to do that. I think I'm going to make a visual tutorial . I got really frustrated with reading through the step by step instructions and just tore open my own and compared it to the account serial keys. Yeah I think changing the keys in the client updates the .ini file, so they just want people to go there to make it easier (since you can screw things up messing with the wrong ini, haha).
Both ways work!
