I have a Druid and i wanted to reskin there summon to a White Stag. Was wondering what you folks thought the best animal companion would represent a White Stags attributes.

Depends if you're looking at 'gameplay attributes' and comparing creatures with stats, or thinking of it like 'which companion is about the same size/ of similar style?'

I would recommend a dire wolf or wolf for this because they are pretty 'normal' stats/ability wise. At the same time, deer can get pretty fuckin pissed so you might be able to swing a badger. I don't see a stag doing knockdowns like the bear, or sneak attacking like the panther or spider.

Existing size of the creature shouldn't matter too much, as we've had people reskin panthers into tiny kitttens, etc. But trying to find a similar type base creature is your only concern.

That "hunter" looks pretty KD'd to me.

One of the old "nature" Summon Creatures was a stag that would knockdown stuff all day erryday. Very handy for its level.

I'd prolly go for the direwolf. It is a good middle ground with no fancy stuff that would look weired and unfitting (badger or boar rage, spider shoots webs, normal wolf howls rat does on hit disease, panther does sneak which would be weired on a stag too)
