Okay, so, a few years ago, when I knew little of lore and Amia in general, I one day made an Elven Earth Genasi Champion of Geb. I know what you're thinking. Yes, cheese. Currently, 6 Wis and 6 CHA..... I made a LOT of mistakes on that build, but, I loved the roleplay this character had. I never really got into her backstory, but, she mined, refined metals, dug up gems, created weapons and armor, just like a good Child of Geb would do. Being a Divine Champion to her was as much a part of her as her heritage. She believed in seeking out new things, discoveries, ore veins, caverns, etcetera, as Geb requests of his clergy.
Now... I'd like to rebuild her, to fix some glaring problems with her cheesiness and make her less cheesey. So... I've come to understand a few issues with her story as I see it:
1) Elves aren't really welcome in Mulhorand 2) Elven Earth Genasi are pretty rare
Also, planetouched ARE welcome in Mulhorand. AND, Earth Genasi are considered to be the "Children of Geb", with most of them being able to trace their lineage to Geb himself. Apparently, he got around.
What I'd come up with to remedy this situation is that she was found as a child (likely abandoned, and left to die for being an Elven abomination with Earth Genasi traits) by a Human Mulhorandi Cleric of Geb. Maybe he lived in a border town or some outskirt farm that was more lax in it's views than say... Skuld. He raised her in the ways of Geb, and she in time felt the calling to become a Champion of Geb. Obviously, as she grows up, she is an outcast in so many ways, and that could be a reason for her to leave and find Amia as a new home.
My question is... is that a viable story? Or... is this character doomed to be cheddar forever? I'd really love to make a rebuild request, but I need to have her lore straight before I submit that. I'm open to ideas on backstory and explanation of her coming into being, as well as locations where she could in fact become a Champion of Geb. I'd like to have some family/clergy interaction too for her upbringing, as I feel that makes sense for her character as she turned out.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!

I am almost certain that the Mulhorandi deities don't even grant divine power to non-Mulhorandi, with Isis, Ma'at and Sharess being notable exceptions.

How about ditch the human thing and make her an elf raised by dwarves. I understand in that region some dwarfs follow Geb as well. I don't really know the culture so well of Mulhorand, if the humans are more xenophobic then the dwarfs would be to an elf. But you'll get to hang out with the dwarves and grump about things.
Or you could just make a dwarf, it sounds like you made the most dwarfy sounding thing without actually making it a dwarf by race!

Yup, character exists ingame. I'm just unhappy with her cheesy stats. I did a rebuild request and her backstory is that her adoptive Father was a wandering Cleric of Geb who found her on his travels to procure new ore veins. Knowing she wouldn't be readily accepted in Mulhorand, he decided to continue searching the world for more veins, and bring his "daughter" with him. He would have recognized her as an Earth Genasi, and that that is considered a "child of Geb", and therefore, to him, she was a blessing. As she grew, it became obvious she wouldn't take up the mantle of cleric, but instead grew strong in the ways of the warrior, and found her calling as a Champion of Geb.
Feasible?
