Hello to you reading this post, As you may have noticed there has been much focus on requests recently and I would like to invest some time personally to help you the player.

So what the intention for this little initiative is to give players new and old alike the means to have a way of contacting someone to gain guidance on creative requests, Whichever they may be. Things such as:

Prestige Class Requests

Visual Effects Requests

Weapon Requests (Roleplay Assisting)

Summon Reskin requests and more!

The above list isnt exhaustive so if it isnt there you need only ask. The help and guidance that I would offer to you is the help in transitioning that spark from your mind which may be fogged by how to go about the request, When to do it and even laying out a request is daunting, I should know. So to make this simple and concise and not blast out paragraphs, Here are the few ways I can help..

Keeping within Lore
Finding certain parts of lore for certain requests can be hard, Especially if you dont know where to find it. In this matter I possess most if not all 3.5e canon sourcebooks that can help give your request some form and allow you that push to drive you on.

Layouts to Requests
So you have all the information, Lore sources and feel pretty happy about the concept your going for, but how do you start? With my experience within requests we can work out a structure to the request that you are happy with but making it a lot easier for both you and DM alike to reference too when time goes on.

Someone to speak to
Making a request can be very daunting, The DM team are really supportive and always give guidance when they can but at times the workload of requests can make it harder for them to provide a more in depth response than they prefer. I would offer my help where is something is highlighted i could offer you direction of potential paths that you can follow should you choose to.

The level of support I offer is not only these three points but all the bits that come in between.

Guidance already put up
I have noticed that there has been support articles put in towards requests to help make transitioning your creativity a lot easier mechanically. The team have put a lot in towards this area to see creativity flourish and to really allow the player to tailor their PC to what they envision. See below for them! (With a lot of credit to a certain member of the team for putting a lot of time into this.)



So you offer this, Whats the Catch?

There isnt one. I enjoy watching well thought requests out and see how they pan out. Although I lack creativity compared to some here on this server it doesnt mean to say that my passion is outmatched. So my rationale for doing this is to give you the enjoyment and satisfaction and on my end I would see so much more creativity come about if my support helps in any way.

Personal Experience

I have been taught how to do requests by one of the most creative and brilliant players that remain on this server, With that I play a Frost Mage with:
The Frost Mage PRC class
Cool VFX
Placeables that allow me to give more depth in roleplay.
Custom item appearance (The Glacial Crown)

In addition I was also given the honour recently of having an Illithid that focuses in taming of the body, So check out the requests archive and have a peek at them!

Alright Alright you waffled on now, Whats next?

A few points to make (Yes theres more)

Your request is your own, Your own creativity is the drive for your own initiative so do not fear if you have reservations if you feel that an request would be changed. However that said if the idea doesnt fit that well with the lore of amia, We can work together and draw up something you feel comfortable with.

You must have your own idea, Im not going to think it up for you from scratch!

Bear in mind that everybody has commitments in RL, I work 9-5 Mon-Fri GMT, So i'll do all I can but I will give feedback and requests a timescale as things progress.
