Like the New FAQ, but specifically about Blackguard-related Lore/Technical/Mechanical/Rules questions.

If you've found yourself wondering about "_____" then ask it here. If possible, tag your question with something like [Technicial] for purely OOC things or [Lore] or something else that sounds appropriate for IG things. If you're not sure what tag it might have because it's a complex question, don't worry about it.

Also use this thread for asking for clarification, if you seen something ruled different ways and want to know which one to believe.

I will be moderating this topic and will gleefully remove spam, nonsense questions, and split out any discussions that occur.

This is strictly for questions.

[Lore] How would a character be-able to begin a path to earn Amadeus's Brand?

Is it possible to play a non evil bg who is only shifted into evil alignment by their obligations towsrd their demonic pacts?

[Lore] Which sorts of contracts are typical for a aspiring blackguard to take?
[Lore] Do they exclusively have to serve a Fiend or Devil?

How exactly does the pact work? Between bg and contractor what is the Comnunication? Are all bg pacts Willful?

[Lore] Does the entirety of a BG's powers come from their contract?

[Lore] If they break the contract do they become fallen?

[Technical/Lore] If they become fallen what restrictions does that impose on their character?

Everything above has been gathered.

As an addition to this, does it have differing effects based on the alignment or heritage of those within its radius?

Do all Blackguard levels count for turning?

First of all: Hi, I've returned after some 4 years...

[Technical] Where are the Blackguard spell trainers supposed to be? For the past 3 days I've searched every evil place I can think of: spoken to every npc I could find in Tarkuul and Zanshibon, searched L'Obsul, Underport, Nec'perya, Ruathym(as far as I dare to go with my lvl 11 char), Cordor and the surrounding areas etc. etc. Was even surprised to be allowed in Kohlingen with my drow. Haven't searched Winya Ravana yet, though I have my doubts. Asked from players but nothing. I am forced to ask for an exact location here. Only lead I could find(which didn't help at all mind you) was: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=68552
