Like the New FAQ, but specifically about Druid-related Lore/Technical/Mechanical/Rules questions, including Shaman and Shifter questions.

If you've found yourself wondering about "_____" then ask it here. If possible, tag your question with something like [Technicial] for purely OOC things or [Lore] or something else that sounds appropriate for IG things. If you're not sure what tag it might have because it's a complex question, don't worry about it.

Also use this thread for asking for clarification, if you seen something ruled different ways and want to know which one to believe.

I will be moderating this topic and will gleefully remove spam, nonsense questions, and split out any discussions that occur.

What Deities accept druids? Can alternate deities be requested with sufficient reasoning?

Does Amia enforce natural materials on druid equipment?

Are Druidic oaths universal, or based on Deity, or ethnic custom? (IE, Mulhorandi druids and ancestral undead)

Does True Sight pierce shapeshifting?

What are reasonable expectations for obtaining 1000 faces?

What is the lore behind the seemingly universal "Druidic Language"?

Can druids speak to animals? Do animals have a language?

What are Blighters? Shamans?

Do Amian druids get Timeless Body? (since requesting PnP for your characters appearance can be tricky)

(Can you tell I played druid for a while?)

(Technical/Lore/RP?) Can I shapechange to a (chromatic) Dragon despite my Good alignment, if I don't have DC for a reskin?
Can I summon a fire or plasma elemental in a forest ?
Does Flame Weapon or a blade coated with Alchemy Fire set the forest on fire ?
Is it legit to tell the Oakmist Vale ranger NPC Merchant (forgot the name) that I am 'a fellow member of the Grove' if I'm actually not part of the faction?
Can I sell a Branch of Giving to another character? Do the branch of giving bonuses stack with the Amia summons bonuses?
My druid PC is Lvl30, is he an Archdruid ?
My druid PC is Lvl30, should he be proficient with runes ?
Do I have to write a request before playing a Urban Druid ? a Blighter?
Can the druid / shifter speak while shapechanged ? in which form?

What is the difference between a druid, and a shifter?

(technical) As for reskins... Can I request any of the dragon appearances available in the AmiaHAK? Is the Mist dragon skin still a no-go?

I'll just answer this one bit, as it's not so much to do with the FAQ - we have a mist dragon skin without the mist, so it's fine to request now I believe.

My druid is not 'grove material' where can I get decent equipment?
Can I cast spells while polymorphed/shapeshifted?
Can I cast spells using the thousand shapes widget?

[Technical] Do the bonuses from the KC auras stack with shifter bonuses (ie will the immunity bonuses from Barricade of Swords stack with the immunity bonus from Risen Lord)?

[Technical] Does playing a shaman or spirit shaman require a request to use their spells since both classes pull their spells from the druid list? (So basically a companionless druid spellcaster)

(Lore) What is a shifter?

(lore) How can a shifter turn into undead and druids be ok with it?

(lore) Can druids eat meat?

[Lore] Are druids equal in divine status to clerics? Less? More? Does it depend on the deity? Is a druid/cleric in service to a nature deity considered the holiest of the holy or someone trying too hard?

[Lore] Shapeshifting/Elemental shape. Why do druids have this ability, do all?

[Lore] Blighters. What are they, where is there power drawn.

[Lore] Other planes. What are druids relations to these, do there powers still function, does there area of concern cross over to such other planes if they follow to Primodial deitys?

[Lore] Undead are they always unnatural? (example nightshades are native to the shadow plane, while remaining undead)

[Lore] Tiefling, Genasi, and Aasimar, would druids accept them as natural beings when a part of there heritage is foreign. This relates also to high level monks who obtain perfect self.

[Lore] Can something unnatural be a druid, immortal beings, liches.

[Lore] Druid Oath: What is it? When does it happen? What's the ritual? What does a druid commit to? What is allowed/forbidden? Is there a symbol or object a druid receives as proof?

[Lore] What races/creatures are druids forbidden to associate with? Why? What is a druid supposed to do if they encounter these forbidden creatures?

[Lore] What happens if a druid uses armor/weapon that she has proficiency in (from multi-classing) but is forbidden by her oath?

[Lore]Can a druid gain spells from Nature itself or only from a nature deity?

[Lore]Can a druid have more than one nature deity to whom she prays for spells, if that is the source of her power?

What classes would make sense for a druid/shifter to muliclass in? I thought maybe ranger, rogue(sneaky forms) and barbarian, any others?
