so, since I know that thr shifter is a prc of the druid I simply wondered if there was some extra lore on them? Also since I have seen other players (even myself) roleplay non druidic shifters I was simply wondering if there was any additional lore on them.

thanks beforehand

There isn't much, really.

A lot is homebrew, as the PrC of NWN is rather thin in description, mixed with the PrC "Master of Many Forms" (to be found in the "Complete Adventurer" Sourcebook page 58).

Amia made some alterations to it though, as with druid. For example the ability to speak in any form is limited to forms that are actually capable of speech. So animal shapes (apart of a selected few) do not fall under the "able to speak" when shifting into them.

Okay awesome, thanks I'll look into that source book.

As for the speech I already figured as much but that was something i already roleplayed out and found no more than logical. Seeing that you change your whole external appearance (figured that both looks and internal properties, such as liver, tummy, lung, all that has to change with the body type. Or at least to my opinion.)

If you've never seen it, here's the bible for one of my favorite pnp/nwn classes.

Most wont work on amia, but it does give you a few ideas of what can be accomplished with shifter/master of many forms.
