Wasn't quite sure where the best place for this was.
I'm just wondering if it possible to alter the base skin for a reskin for a companion? To clarify, rather than just replacing say a wolf with a warg skin, could the colour of the warg skin be changed as well or is it limited to the existing design?

Hey Teq,
I'm fairly sure that we're stuck to the models, colour change may not be able to be implemented unless a vfx was applied, I think you can get glowy colours but it gives it that effect.
The only bit of experience I have is by messing about in toolkit so maybe a dev or Dm can answer better than I can.

Some creatures come in multiple colors or designs. While you're limited to existing models, you can (as previously stated) add VFX to creature models in attempt to emulate something else. Also, through use of invisible models, many creatures can be resized.

Yeah it has to be an existing skin. Colors can only be changed through VFX and most of those (if not all) glow and would make the creature 1 color completely.
What works pretty well is the shadowy effect of shadowshield and iceskin+ghostsmoke as a ghostly look.
Resizing either up or down can be done from 10% to 200%.
Some of the "covers the whole body" VFX do not work on resized creatures. Mainly the colored glows.
Also keep to note, base always stays. We can change name/bio/portrait but not voice/stats.

Ok, thanks for the responses. I'll have to reconsider what I was hoping to do then

The only other possible way to do so is to great a new creature with the same model and make a whole new texture but that requires ham content so isn't really viable- for example I will make a worg white. And show you what I mean in clear detail. The best bet would be a vex if you want. A differnt color.
