I want my character to have a dagger that looks like this:

I don't have a clue how find out if something like this is already in the toolset or hakpaks or w/e is needed to have a weapon that looks like that. Should I just role-play that my dagger looks like that? Should I put in a special item request for a dagger that looks like that? HALP!

My suggestion is to detail it in your character's in-game description.

But beware, I may make a drow, just to steal that cool thing away!

you can add a line in your bio to detail what it looks like and emote it when you pull it out.

I used to do the emotes with a ring

There's a few daggers like this in various hakpaks, I'll see if I can dig them up and toss them at the devs as drow-ish weapons for the next hak update. Not that spidery, but along those lines of fancy/useless.
