Hey,
As few of you know, I broke my laptop last week and lost all my files as well. Which means I need to install NWN again however, the problem is I have only two of the three cd's safe still... I don't have the second expansion: Underdark.
Any ideas or solutions to my problems to enable my return? :/
Thanks you in advance. Mags

Might be worth buying a copy from GoG.com. If you have your old CD keys, it shouldn't be any problem at all.

Aye, and make sure to request a Multiplayer CD key, as well through their support channel.

Your old core game CD key should be enough with a GOG copy as well.

Yep. I had to get a GoG copy, and used my old keys just fine.

If you have the keys (i.e. the expansion box, just not the disc) you don't need to buy anything, just download the ISO somewhere. That should be entirely legal most everywhere.

And buying a new copy shouldn't be too expensive. Last time I bought a copy of NWN and all the Expansions to a friend, I bought it from eBay for 3,90 euros. That included shipping.

Thank you all for valuable help! It is greatly appreciated. Turned out my brother was able to locate 2/3 Cd's cases and the Cd's inside and one CD was inside my computer for 4 years.. So I got 3/3 CD's and now only need to find the CD case for Underdark for the key... Thank you for the effort to help me out! Best Regards, Mags

I have no idea if the bioware website still holds them, if you signed yours up to them on whatever forums they used to have - but it could be worth checking out perhaps?

The bioware website no longer has them, but I am fairly sure you only need the cd key of the core game for multiplayer.

Somehow, I've managed to keep my game keys for this damn game. Maybe not the originals, but at least the ones that came with the platinum disc. However, at one point I couldn't find the handbook, and found the Bioware site didn't have it anymore... when I finally did find a copy of the key somewhere (the .ini copy from some random install I think), I made sure to make a few copies of it. This came in even more handy when I just reinstalled the game after moving up to a win8 machine. For some reason manually typing in the keys wouldn't work on the win8 machine, but entirely swapping the cdkey.ini for my copy worked just fine.
TL:DR - Make copies of the cdkey.ini, you know you're not leaving NWN.
